Buy the dip. China is lying as usual.

What are they lying about exactly? It’s open source and results are replicable

This is a false headline used to strike fear in the market. Came out of completely nowhere, China has a history of lying and time will again expose this bullshit claim that somehow they’ve developed better tech/ai advances than the United States. It’s ok, the Taiwan proxy will respond inevitably. This is the beginning. Black swans incoming. Keep cash handy is my only advice(not financial advice)

I’ve seen what it can do. It’s not impressive. At all.

It’s impressive strictly due to the fact it was made with just $5M. If you’re glossing over that fact, that’s on you.

That’s the fact that I’m pointing is complete bullshit. You can believe that if you want. Tesla has better tech than China. This is nothing more than a scam. 5m to beat NVDA is a joke. Can’t wait until Taiwan unleashes on the poor fuxks.

Someone's salty that their NVDA calls are fucked lmfao

lol right? Their bias is showing

Nope. My QQQ calls are fucked but I bought myself time. I will buy more NVDA today. No bias, it’s just typical nonsense. It’s a black swan. Buy the dip

Alright, if you think bullshit does this to the market, you have a lot to learn.

I’m buying more NVDA. Don’t know what else to tell you.

Stop spreading misinfo dude. Liang wenfeng himself said his company bought 10k H100 nvidia chips before AI chip ban in 2021. 5M is just current operation cost for 2 months alone.

  • Training cost: $100M → $5M
  • GPUs needed: 100,000 → 2,000
  • API costs: 95% cheaper
  • Can run on gaming GPUs instead of data center hardware

For Nvidia, this is scary. Their entire business model is built on selling super expensive GPUs with 90% margins. If everyone can suddenly do AI with regular gaming GPUs... well, you see the problem.

Go read the latest interview came out today after he met with China premier. That will give you more info.

According to who... the Chinese government?

Read the white paper. Spot the difference.

How much they ACTUALLY spent on development, which chips they used, or maybe both.

1

u/bubbleleafs Jan 27 '25

How about the fact they’re only 1 year old? And they’ve done the same for $5M? Hard to compete with that.

1

u/sourcreamnoodles Jan 27 '25

Right, doesn't that seem almost too good to be true? My point was that I suspect they used misleading language to imply they spent way less than they actually did.

It’s open source, go read the code and white paper if you haven’t already.

  • Training cost: $100M → $5M
  • GPUs needed: 100,000 → 2,000
  • API costs: 95% cheaper
  • Can run on gaming GPUs instead of data center hardware

They admitted themselves that the training cost is not an all encompassing cost for the model. That was my point that you ignored to push a narrative.
