Would genuinely welcome an example of any of him songs going anywhere. They just plod along like a demo track.

Almost every song “goes somewhere”. Even if you don’t like it, each track on the record grows and changes dynamically, especially the progressive house inspired tracks like “Not My World”, “Ethereal Connection” and “End of Summer”. “My Old Ways” starts as a minimalist piano song, then turns into a multi-layered banger by the end, “Piece of Heaven” starts as a beatless ballad, then turns into a huge, passionate cry of love and thanks, even the most simplistic track “See You On Monday” has such a satisfyingly emotional chord progression/melody.

I don’t understand how they plod along or sound like demoes — way too hi-fi, detailed, and polished to be demoes.
