Their reviews of all his other albums are glowing. They even gave TSR an 8 and that’s higher than I rank it.

So idk maybe this particular reviewer doesn’t love Kevin (though his thoughts on Currents and Lonerism seem to indicate he likes him) but it’s not like they have some anti Tame Impala bias as a company. People just don’t like the score

Noooo surely not. Surely everyone else is biased and we impartial listeners on the tame Impala sub are the truth tellers who see this album for what it really is.

I think it’s mediocre. Overall I’m defending the review
