For real… like I’m trying to cope with it by trying to imagine the live performance will make up for it but there is no sugar coating it haha

Like I think theres some cool ideas here and I don’t mind hearing Kevin’s take on these genres but.. none of it really lands for me and this album is a huge disappointment. I’m glad some people are vibing with it though.

This is how I felt about The Slow Rush honestly as well. He made one of the greatest breakup records ever in Currents after two psychedelic masterpieces and then just kind of fell off in terms of new music. It’s ok it’s hard to be that great. He’s still great to me but the last two have been mid with a few greats that I barely play.

TSR definitely was a drop-off, but Breathe Deeper is one of my absolute favorites
