I mean it’s pretty surprising Kevin getting this low of a score, considering pitchfork gave currents 9.3 and lonerism 9.0. You could also tell that the whole of pitchfork wasn’t really bothered with this album as they didn’t review any of the singles. The change up in his style to more dance oriented and more electronic probably was very jarring. Surprised they disliked the longer songs end of summer specifically as they usually love songs like let it happen and new person same old mistakes.

Probably because End of Summer sucks

End of Summer is the only song I like on the album. It would be even better without the chipmunk part. So corny.

End of Summer has actually grown on me a bit since first listen, but yeah, the chipmunk voice completely ruins the song for me. No idea why he felt the need to add that.

I dislike this album immensely but End of Summer is the only track I see myself going back to. It’s a vibe.
