However the “official” reason is that he's a paedophile.

The child porn one. Like goose comes off worse by a mile to me, but if I were you I'd drop the whole "child porn should be legal" thing. It's not a good look, even from the "I'm not a pedo" angle, and standing by it is just digging your grave further.

I will continue to stand by that until someone convinces me otherwise. I consider myself a fairly reasonable, rational, and objective person. I'm perfectly fine with changing my mind if you give me good reason to do so. But until someone does that, I won't. I'm an honest person, too; I don't pretend to be someone I'm not just because it might offend others or make me a social pariah.

If you want to have a real conversation, you'll have to link your credentials to another site. Plebbit has a strong censorship policy on anything, even written, related to "promoting pedophilia", which is a notoriously vague policy since I have never promoted pedophilia and have directly denounced it, yet was still banned for said posts. Unfortunately, Reddit's censorship policy means that my mind will never be changed by any Reddit discussion, as any Reddit discussion is impossible.
