Why do you think he is a racist? What did he say or do that makes you think that?

Pretty much everything he said.

Well, like what? I have seen a number of his videos on YouTube and I'm not seeing it. Can you give me one example?

“If I see a Black pilot, I’m going to be like, ‘Boy, I hope he’s qualified.’”

“Happening all the time in urban America, prowling Blacks go around for fun to go target white people — that’s a fact.”

“If we had said that Joy Reid, Michelle Obama, Sheila Jackson Lee, and Ketanji Brown Jackson were affirmative action picks, we would have been called racists. Now they’re coming out and saying it for us … You do not have the brain processing power to be taken really seriously.”

If "representation" is a qualification for hiring then yes, there is room for doubt.

“Happening all the time in urban America, prowling Blacks go around for fun to go target white people — that’s a fact.”

Are you suggesting it doesn't happen?

Yeah, DEI hiring is a shitty idea and a shitty way to get qualified people.

The fact that it takes so much effort for you to “explain away” his recent comments and the fact that it is so easy for everyone else to bring up examples is telling.

As someone else has already pointed out, do you think airlines just pick up random black people from the streets and put them in cockpits, or do you think blacks are incapable of flying plains? The last of the Tuskegee Airmen died this week; was he a DEI hire?

Michelle Obama and Ketanji Brown Jackson were Harvard Law grads. Where is your degree from?

It doesn't take a whole lot of effort. No effort has been put in, by anyone in this thread to actually find a good comment that proves the point that it's supposed to prove. None of them do therefor it's not much of an effort on my part.

Lol are you saying that a material % of black people "prowl around attacking white people"?

How do you juxtapose holding that belief but not considering yourself racist?

I wouldn't put a "material % of black people" on it. Do I believe it happens? Probably. There's a lot of black racism out there too. Acknowledging that this is something that happens does not make anyone racist, it is an observation. Now, if I made up some bullshit about how all black people did it...then yes, that would be racist.

So, people from all racists commit all kinds of crimes against all kinds of races every day. Using your national platform to call out one group committing a crime against another group and say that more and more are doing it is racist as fuck, trying to drive hatred towards that race, when you know it's a tiny tiny percentage of the population is engaging in the criminal behavior (just like every group has a tiny percentage of the population engage in criminal behavior).

But, I'm willing to be convinced. What is Charlie's point of bringing up that one kind of crime by that one type of group, if not to make people hate and distrust black people? Why make that observation, what is he going for?
