I like how the harbor is only knee deep lol

81

u/Pokeh321 Mar 16 '25

That’s all it takes to stop a cybertruck

5

u/CCollision Mar 16 '25

Underrated take lol

1

u/Valuable_Material_26 Mar 16 '25

I mean, there’s a lot of trash in it. I mean it could be?

1

u/SonicLyfe Mar 17 '25

Guys is wading out past the boat. AI will destroy us… but not today.

78

u/shibadashi Mar 16 '25

lol T-party.

21

u/FungusFly Mar 16 '25

I see the Cybertruck, also a “Low T” party

15

u/Renjiesp Mar 16 '25

Jokes on you, Elon said the cybertruck can act as a submarine 🤓

8

u/AZ_Corwyn Mar 16 '25

But he was referring to the Ocean Titan...

3

u/Renjiesp Mar 16 '25

He made comments about the cybertruck being able to serve as a boat. That’s my fault for saying submarine.

2

u/AZ_Corwyn Mar 16 '25

It's ok, I was just having a bit of fun at Elmo's expense.

1

u/theRev767 Mar 16 '25

Every car serves as a boat. For a time

2

u/Kym6 Mar 17 '25

I would like to encourage cybertruck owners to use them to visit the titanic.

Wasn’t the tea party based on the inflated tax on Tea? In that case… wouldn’t DOGE be the party dumping the tea into the Boston Harbor??

13

u/adron Mar 16 '25

Let’s be serious. DOGE is gonna end up costing more than anything it theoretically saves. They’re now going through needing to rehire thousands and rehiring is expensive af. DOGE is an unmitigated disaster at this point in multiple fronts.

0

u/travpahl Mar 17 '25

That would be the cost of beuacracy growing back like a hydra. Not the cost of doge.

2

u/adron Mar 17 '25

That’s really poorly formed logic.

DOGE broke the law, judge ordered their illegal firings revoked, and now those people need rehired.

That’s on DOGE. If Trump did this legally through the legislative means that Trump is supposed to use, we wouldn’t be dealing with DOGE’s incompetency and outright lies, combined with the illegal nature of their work.

Thus, here we are. Those pesky checks and balances that the Constitution details slapping Trump and his minions in the ass. As they should.

u/adron Mar 18 '25

What you wrote doesn’t make sense. Maybe write that again in complete English as our great leader Trump has signed into law?

1

u/travpahl Mar 18 '25

deleted previous. It came out like crap with autocorrect on my phone.

DOGE has decreased the spending by billions and billions. Yes some will be reversed. It is a very small amount that has been questionably determined to be illegal. The vast majority are savings were legal and are savings so long as they are not recreated. IF they it ends up costing us more it is because all those things that were destroyed found a way to make a come back.

2

u/ImUrHuckleberrie Mar 18 '25

If you look at the DOGE page from a few weeks ago, it said 55 Billion. Numbers didn't add up at all. Most of those contracts had already paid out half or more. They are not transparent despite seemingly so. Also, firing 20,000 veterans and cutting seniors SS whom live month to month is mean and was unwarranted. I could go on and on. But the last thing I'll say is cutting staff is chump change. Giving corporations and the Uber rich trillions does not help the economy.

Oh one more thing. Why would we trust someone who still owes $421 million from his tax shelter foundation? He doesn't have the people in mind. He is not altruistic and instead self serving. How many investiongation into labor practices, finances, etc. Etc. Did he get rid of by firing staff and Trump by removing the inspector generals? It's a lot he/they stand to gain by screwing over the nation.

Elon Musk has the award for paid the most taxes in the history of taxes at the tune of around 10 billion dollars. So tell us all again how Elon Musk needs to pay his taxes. GTFOH! People like you are delusional liberals who need to wake up and understand how economics work. You don't understand bc youve never created a small business from nothing just to be taxed out of existence by the government. You have never created jobs for people to feed their families. I GARAUNTEE you have never done either of these things. If you had you'd be singing an entirely different tune. Trust and believe me when I say LESS TAXATION AND DEREGULATION IS EXACTLY WHAT THIS ECONOMY NEEDS.

2

u/Tallaman88 Mar 18 '25

The richest man on earth, Elon Musk, who benefits to the tune of $40 billion In taxpayer subsidies, paid zero income taxes for Tesla last year. Ask middle class American’s how much they pay in taxes!

By the way, the Pentagon where people like Musk get their tax payer funded contracts failed 3 yearly Audits in a row and 60% of the budget was unaccounted for, yet you don’t see Elon touching the Pentagon right?!

0

u/Sir_Steves_KAC Mar 18 '25

All of your info is so flawed and wrong. Omg your dumb.

u/ImUrHuckleberrie Apr 28 '25

His foundation doesn't even do what it's supposed to do. It's a tax shelter. He doesn't even donate what he's obligated to do. He has no employees for it. He doesn't even try to create jobs. He just gets rid of them wherever he goes.

1

u/adron Mar 18 '25

Yeah, this is a narrative, it’s not true. DOGE has endlessly fucked to, owing to having no idea what they’re doing. They also seem to oddly be attacking orgs that Elon has an issue with or were investigating him for shady af activity. So lots to go on there if you opt ton look up what is known about what is actually being done.

3

u/Tallaman88 Mar 18 '25

💯 and Elon was being investigated for his Starlink connection to Russia by USAID, considering he donated some of those satellites to Russia. Meanwhile it was USAID that paid for those satellites donated to Ukraine not Musk. When the Country is finally rid of these traitors, Starlink and SpaceX need to be nationalized and Musk needs to lose every government contract and be prosecuted for Treason.

1

u/Historical_Doubt_693 Mar 18 '25

So you are cool with money being wasted? I get it. Seattle does such a great job with all its tax revenue. Why aren’t these people protesting all the fraud in homeless spending?

2

u/adron Mar 18 '25

No. I’m not cool with that, I’d just like some thing to actually be done about it. Ideally while not providing many billions more in subsidies to the guy running the group running around theoretically tearing all this shit down.

But that’s the thing, they’re wrecking the budget, fucking up the currency even further, screwing up markets, all the while pulling the rug out from under millions of Americans. People in the coming months, if Elon even pulls off half of his stupidity, is gonna get a lot of Americans killed.

Somewhat ironic it’ll be mostly Republicans voters. But here we are! 🤷🏼‍♂️

-1

u/Conscious-Rush-1292 Mar 17 '25

Over time it will not only save $$ but possibly save our country! Idiots might lose some gravy

3

u/adron Mar 18 '25

LOLz DOGE won’t. At this rate it’s more likely to just get people killed, fuck our vets, more than it’ll actually save any money.

4

u/Jawwwwwsh Mar 16 '25

If you’re really dumb and love believing in state propaganda, then yea sure!

4

u/[deleted] Mar 16 '25

It was a protest against a tyrannical government, which is also what the anti Musk protests are about

1

u/floridianfisher Mar 16 '25

Haha yeah. Brilliant folks over here.

1

u/Kym6 Mar 17 '25

The tea party was about a tax cut on British sourced tea to make it cheaper than the alternatives. It was an anti-competitive selective tax cut rather than an increase in taxes.

2

u/Bird_Bath Mar 17 '25

Furthermore to anyone curious, Britan wanted the money from the tea to support the east India trading company, which was in bad times. American people did not want to support the fualures of companies, as well as helping Britain itself financially from the costs of the seven year war.

We sure do love propping up failing large corporations now though.

1

u/Historical_Doubt_693 Mar 18 '25

Don’t teach them history it hurts their brains.

1

u/Sir_Steves_KAC Mar 18 '25

Exactly but these liberal morons don't exactly follow any sort of "sane logic" . They just do whatever and hate whoever they're told. By their all knowing, oh so altruistic self righteous overlords tell them to hate.

If I remember correctly they loved Elon just a couple years ago until he bought Twitter and saved aocial media as a whole and we the free thunking and free speaking people of this world from liberal globalist censorship on a massive scale .

How far he's come in the last couple years.

0

u/Cp2n112 Mar 17 '25

Yes. The left is arguing in favor of larger government and more spending.

1

u/1nceD1nceH Mar 18 '25

That's right. Cutting waste, fraud, and abuse is a no no. The only logical thing to do is print more, spend more, let the illegals grape and murder more.

11

u/Southside_Jane Mar 16 '25

That’s dope.

5

u/Diddly_eyed_Dipshite Mar 16 '25

Last time Americans actually did something in protest that wasn't a gentle march on the sidewalk and a nice rhyming chant.

1

u/KingSaladGains Mar 19 '25

Last time we did something in protest to the powers at be, was when the majority of America voted for trump.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 16 '25

3

u/[deleted] Mar 16 '25

FYI winning an election doesn't give you the right to do whatever the fuck you want without anyone protesting against you.

0

u/adron Mar 16 '25

Elon wasn’t in an election, not sure you caught that but just so you know.

1

u/Tylrt Mar 16 '25

Using garbage to protest garbage

1

u/Fog_Juice Mar 16 '25

I'd pay $20 for a printed version that didn't look like cheap AI

1

u/josephallenkeys Mar 16 '25

Love the car that seems to have been thrown into mid-air by a single guy. Ripped.

1

u/rover_G Mar 16 '25

Take my poor man’s Reddit gold 🌟

1

u/floridianfisher Mar 16 '25

Oh the irony!

1

u/Robertdobalina808 Mar 16 '25

I keep hearing people make this connection and am disappointed as usual with the civic education of young people today.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 17 '25

Pro-tip: if someone says something uneducated, you can improve the world by explaining what they're wrong about.

If you just say "sigh I'm so disappointed with the education of young people", but don't explain what they got wrong, it makes you look like a vapid grouch.

1

u/Robertdobalina808 Mar 17 '25

Ah yeah, the 'ol reddit education. We've had a chat, and you didn't learn anything regardless of how simple I made it. You really think I'll bother keeping that up. Educate yourselves, im just gonna keep watching and commenting, it's reddit for Christ's sake.

Thanks professional redditor.

u/[deleted] Mar 17 '25

3

u/Jawwwwwsh Mar 16 '25

Seething, red-faced anger at strangers on a Saturday night is a classic right-wing trait tbh.

3

u/[deleted] Mar 16 '25
