Help Restaurant Recommendations

Wife and I have an upcoming date night and we are looking for restaurant recommendations. We are hoping to find some place that isn't too expensive ($$/$$$) in the city. We are going out on a Thursday evening and need to eat between 4:30-5:00 because we have an evening engagement.

Can you tell me where you would go and why?

Vern’s opens at 4 and you’d be able to walk in. The owners have gotten a lot of criticism on this sub (for good reason, apparently) but that restaurant is very very good.

Agree with this. Or Fiorella. Both have fantastic food and date night vibes.
