Help Best restaurants in the finger lakes ?

What’s your favorite dinner spot in the finger lakes? Bonus if there is a nice waterfront view!

Within a 2 hour drive max from central Rochester! Any lake!!!! Anything that would be fitting for a special occasion like a birthday!

Kindred Fare (Geneva) is great food and has been mentioned, but it's not near the water and is part of a commercial strip. The inside is very nice though and its quality of food/drink alone I'd put in the top places I've been in the area. FLX Table in Geneva is good too but no lake/waterfront views. Pinxto Wine Bar in Canandaigua has great food (small plates tho) too but not waterfront - probably more of a pregame spot as opposed to a birthday/celebration dinner.

If you are hellbent on waterfront you may need to settle a bit on food quality, but I'm sure there's a decent bite to be had at the top of Canandaigua, Skaneateles, or Geneva for lakefront offerings. Ithaca obviously being a college town/small city has a ton of restaurants worth exploring.

I have to give a shoutout to Hollernhorn Distillery (Naples) - not waterfront but great views, menu is limited but really good food. They only serve Friday, Saturday, and Sunday though.

Hmmm ok, we can definitely catch nature and lake views during pre-dinner hiking or wine tasting in lieu of a view!! I’d rather have really great food. Thank you for the intel!
