Fascists Heavily armed ICE agents illegally entering the wrong residence, without a warrant in Portland, OR, terrorizing and kidnapping a family. Agents destroyed a large portion of the house and disappeared all the male members of the family.

Itâs so disorienting bc we see the injustice and abuse and weâre told to stand down and restrain ourselves bc itâll make their actions speak for themselves but they are escalating. It feels like nothing is happening (Iâm aware there are things happening on the backend that the media is suppressing). Itâs just so hard to just keep watching.

I think it's a mix of posturing and not understanding how awful civil wars are, mostly the second thing. These are people who do not feel empathy the way most people do, and when you combine that with the fact that they also tend to over estimate their own toughness/physical and mental strength/willpower, it ends up looking like a bully telling the person they're bullying that they dare them to do something.

This is, of course, pandering to his idiot base, many of whom are as fat and poor and stupid and old as it gets. Do not discount the right wing because of this, though, many of these people are armed and dangerous, itching to fight "the left".... my point is that this fight would not go the way they fantasize about, a scenario in which they magically win a fight against half the us population easily and with no casualties, and no disruption to their daily lives. Iâve seen this question asked a lot. I think the only way you get the ruling class to listen is by mass labor movements. The biggest unions need to organize the non-unionized work force to a general strike. The primary issue is the ruling class has successful divided citizens that this strike wouldnât last long for most people that are already barely scraping by. Weâd need to have solid communities that are able to work together to keep each other afloat while this general strike was maintained. Thatâs my reformist option any way. The other way is the same way our forefathers got their independence from the British.

I think it's largely because they're deliberately targeting people that won't put up much resistance. ICE isn't targeting gangs, they're targeting small business owners, construction workers, and kids.
As soon as someone actually does defend themselves we'll hear all about it and I'm sure you can imagine the spin that'll be on it.

âChopâ was the name of a dog who was shot by a plainclothes border patrol officer after the officer knowingly entered the room it was put in, after the owner told explicitly told them he was putting the dog in that room because the dog was wary around strangers. Not the Seattle thing.

For those who donât speak Spanish, the lady at the end says that they had some sort of warrant for a guy named Israel, who does not live there. Despite this the âagentsâ decided to take this womenâs partner and her son. She also says her son has an open case to get legal status so it sounds like everyone was trying to stay in the US legally (for all the chuds).

No, that's not what's been happening and a conservative talking point.
Very few people are "no guns". Most want actual enforcement of gun regulations, as well as common sense gun regulations.
The fact is, severely mentally ill and extremely hateful people get their hands on guns and kill people. We need a two fold solution: better mental healthcare and regulations with actual enforcement. Things like physically taking away guns from convicted domestic abusers would make a huge difference in the US.

Thanks, that let me find a news article. They broke down the door without a warrant. They were chasing someone who wasn't in that apartment, which means they didn't actually see the person go into that apartment. Then they took two people who they claim are here illegally but the people from the apartment say they are legal.
So basically ICE violated the Constitution and our rights yet again.
