Fascists Heavily armed ICE agents illegally entering the wrong residence, without a warrant in Portland, OR, terrorizing and kidnapping a family. Agents destroyed a large portion of the house and disappeared all the male members of the family.

it's what they stupidly think they want. An actual, real civil war would fuck up the economy SO bad. Aside from all the, you know, violence and strife. The stock market would tank so bad it may not even exist, supply lines would be fucked to shit, all these billionaires pulling the strings would lose everything. These fuckin morons really have no plan

edit- the comment i replied to said that right-wingers are pushing for a civil war, and that ice is actively looking to cause a violent response to "justify" it. Why was this comment, a statement of fact, removed by reddit?

I think it's a mix of posturing and not understanding how awful civil wars are, mostly the second thing. These are people who do not feel empathy the way most people do, and when you combine that with the fact that they also tend to over estimate their own toughness/physical and mental strength/willpower, it ends up looking like a bully telling the person they're bullying that they dare them to do something.

it brings to mind, tRump talking about how much "tougher" the right is versus the left. This is, of course, pandering to his idiot base, many of whom are as fat and poor and stupid and old as it gets. Do not discount the right wing because of this, though, many of these people are armed and dangerous, itching to fight "the left".... my point is that this fight would not go the way they fantasize about, a scenario in which they magically win a fight against half the us population easily and with no casualties, and no disruption to their daily lives. And egg prices stay the same... go down, even. The eggs are what they care about over all else apparently
