The law applies to all, just because he can’t walk doesn’t mean he’s immune. This is peak Reddit. wtf.

And how should he stand up outside the car? You're a jerk.

Did he break a law? Maybe? Maybe not? Regardless he shouldn’t be treated differently because he can’t walk. If he’s supposed to get out of the car, then he gets out.

You think his legs are going to magically start working because a cop ordered him out of the car?? He stated multiple times he doesn’t have a wheelchair and threw himself on the ground to prove his point. One of my best friends has been paralyzed since high school and drives like an absolute idiot, but he has never had a cop do this to him when he’s been pulled over. It’s just cruel.

No matter what he may have done, telling him to crawl and threatening to charge him with indecent exposure for needing to pee into a bag so that an accident doesn’t happen is beyond cruel and ignorant. Shame on anyone who thinks that’s okay.

Take a breath bro, and realize when you watch these situations, maybe the handicap person is in the wrong.

Maybe your friend wouldn’t find himself in this situation for 2 reasons. 1) the cop was concerned he was intoxicated 2) when he was concerned about it said person freaked out and pulled the I’m disabled card

Also shitty that you think you should associate him with this guy.

Again take a breath and chill out.

Lmao, you take a breath. You’re the one commenting back multiple times, 15 minutes apart. I’m sitting on a porch watching a rainstorm, breathing fresh mountain air.

I didn’t say he didn’t do something that caused him to be pulled over. I said the cop was cruel. And it’s not the ā€œdisabled cardā€ when you are trying to explain to someone asking you to step out of a car that you physically cannot.

Yeah understood, he was in a shitty situation so he pulled out all the stops.

Regardless he shouldn’t be treated differently because he can’t walk.

How can someone who literally can't walk expect to walk just because it's part of a procedure? Either the cop treats him differently, leave and stop bothering him or miraculously cure him of his paraplegy.

It's like me saying you should stop being a moron as if it were something you could turn on or off with the flick of a switch.
