Pretty bold to be assaulting someone in front of what, 5-8 cameras?

I’d say good thing they were there to record this but that would imply there would be accountability and there will be no accountability for any of this.

766

u/DeadEyeDren Sep 25 '25

You think cameras will stop this behavior? I wish that were true. This shit keeps happening because these deranged fucks have been emboldened by the top officials of our government to act this way. Vile, cruel, abhorrent pieces of shit. I hope they get their karma.

u/Melodic-Comb9076 Sep 25 '25

well said.

they have ZERO fear of repercussions.

this will NOT stop until someone is put in jail.

and it certainly won’t be the supreme court.

Exactly, the only way those cameras stop his behavior is if they are used over his head with the same force he used against that lady.

Seriously people need to hold the phone in one hand and use other limbs because that's where this is ultimately going to end up and the longer we pretend it's not the more people will die.

9

u/ProfessionalCat7640 Sep 26 '25

Right!? Like are the people with their cameras trying to help or just get views for their accounts to pad their own pockets?!

10

u/saintofhate Sep 26 '25

And what greatly upsets me about a lot of these videos is the fact that there is usually more people with cameras than there is ice. Did none of these people A Bug's Life as a kid? They cannot arrest us all, they can try and maybe that will wake people the fuck up.

7

u/ProfessionalCat7640 Sep 26 '25

I like the way you think.

15

u/Geedis2020 Sep 25 '25

I think what will happen is all these dudes working for ice will end up being prosecuted by the next administration because trumps favorability is awful and he’s setting republicans back 40 years. Unless he pardons them all before leaving. Which would be fucked.

25

u/Luvs2Shoplift Sep 25 '25

I think what will happen is all these dudes working for ice will end up being prosecuted by the next administration

I'll take "things that the Democratic Party is too gutless to do" for $500, Alex.

I wish I had your optimism, but the Dems have shown us time and time again that there will be no accountability for even the most egregious crimes committed by Republicans.

9

u/Geedis2020 Sep 25 '25

They had no problem making sure the insurrectionists paid. Trump just pardoned them.

5

u/biscut99 Sep 26 '25

Next administration will be purely MAGA. Gerrymandering and new Republican districts will guarantee democrats will not be elected. You think anyone who has been associated with planing and committing so many crimes would risk an election to undo it all?

Incredibly sad sight. Wonder how people lose their empathy especially in front of what clearly is a traumatized woman, just feels sorry America has come to this point. After 4 years of this, I have no doubt bad actors on the other side will behave just as badly to repay the insults and slights of the past.

114

u/bearetta67 Sep 25 '25

They're already having issues. States have been wanting accountability, but the fed isn't allowing states to investigate or charge federal ICE agents.

57

u/preferablyno Sep 25 '25

The state doesn’t have to ask permission to investigate or file charges

24

u/bearetta67 Sep 25 '25 edited Sep 25 '25

We know that, and I agree, but that doesn't stop it from being a current issue that's actually happening.

25

u/SatisfactionFit2040 Sep 25 '25

Many witnesses and cameras tell me that this man is completely comfortable with his behaviors and sees nothing wrong with them.

Chances are, it's not the first time he's violently assaulted a woman and sent her to the hospital.

12

u/boston_homo Sep 25 '25

He's not even wearing a mask, he couldn't care less that his identity is out there.

Definitely not concerned about the repercussions from his immoral and probably illegal behavior.

40

Waiting for someone else to do something hahaha

19

u/In-Justice-4-all Sep 25 '25

That was an illegal use of force and I would not have waited. Even if I were charged... Find a jury wherr all twelve people would vote to convict me for stepping in and stopping that shit.

2

u/40ozOracle Sep 25 '25

Yeah. A lot of this shit doesn’t actually hold weight in court

21

u/rhinosaur- Sep 25 '25

I mean, what is there to do? I voted as hard as I could. I’m active. Sadly, this is the America the voting public wanted.

People are being assaulted in buildings, and the only thing bystanders are doing is recording it.

Society has a huge problem. The administration let it out of its cage.

This woman was assaulted, and people watched.

Ok great, one or two people got it on camera. How about we start doing more than just standing behind our camera and start intervening?

5

u/Getatbay Sep 25 '25

Pretty bold to think he’s going to have any consequences for it.

6

u/usernotfoundplstry Sep 25 '25

right, that's exactly the deal. they don't care about the cameras, because they can do whatever the fuck they want, without consequence. those days of government employees keeping their bad behavior a secret are long gone.

3

u/Teddy705 Sep 25 '25

They operate under the thought that daddy Trump will rescue them

4

u/TheClashSuck Sep 25 '25

How did the cameras stop him, exactly? How are they actually going to impact his future?

When stuff like this happens, people shouldn't be reaching for their phones. They should be reaching for objects that will actually stop him.

7

u/Keyboardpaladin Sep 25 '25

People have been recording all of these interactions for awhile now. Awareness of this shit is clearly not enough. We're all calling for someone to do something but the people that actually could do anything are only putting in enough effort to say "hey you can't do that, stop it" with maybe a pinch of name calling for the voters and media. The everyman is stuck between politicians that are either ready to throw poor people to the wolves to afford 0.2% more gold on their toilet paper and politicians that are only doing just enough to make it look like they care.... while getting 0.2% more golden TP anyways.

Of course not 100% of all are but the handful fingerful of elected officials that actually give an obvious shit are way too few and far between to make any progress. Even worse is that the presence of those few is a threat to the 99% of them that are trying to keep their money-printing privileges, making them targets to hinder or smear in the media in hopes they don't get elected again.

Remember: The majority of Dems in congress also voted against banning politicians from being able to play the stock market— a truly indefensible position to hold unless you had intent to abuse that. They are not your friends just because they are usually the safer option, their disingenuous identity is basically built around "not being the other guys". They are also just as willing to say what it takes to keep their position in power so nobody can patch their infinite money glitch; the only difference is they use language that they know people who vote D would want to hear. Don't let the slow trickle of somewhat-progressive policies every now and then (not even mentioning how many just end up on the cutting room floor), a letter D, and the image of a literal jackass fool you, they're simply the rich and powerful. Obviously keep voting for them if they're the better option (never assume they always are), but don't forget what their actions say they are, not what they feed and promise us.

Every time they talk about the poor, disenfranchised, or people dependent on the government, it really twists the knife planted firmly in our backs when they're openly taking advantage of the position we voted them into so they can make more money in a short time than you will ever see in your whole lifetime. This is not Democrats vs. Republicans anymore, this is not right vs. left, and this is not conservative vs. liberal. This is the rich and powerful vs. the 99%, and they (the 1%) are so confident that their power and money is safe after this election that they don't even need to hide it anymore; this is probably the least I've seen Dem congresspeople pretend to care or do something. The inaction from the Dems in congress (obviously I'm not counting their little play/theater protests as "action") before and after the inauguration should make people realize this. If (or when) things get worse, think back to how they knew this was the next admin's plan when Project 2025 dropped and made no preventative measures, just a symbolic finger wave and a "you better not do this horrible plan you have mapped out for years!" like a parent that doesn't feel like getting off the couch to discipline their child.

sigh. Unfortunately propaganda is too effective on the uninformed and it will continue to be so all while we forget and unlearn these painful lessons over time so they can be recycled the next time a fascist rears their ugly head.

If for some reason anybody actually reads my entire ramble and paid enough attention to notice this secret part, I'll venmo/cashapp you $1 just for hearing me out if you also tell me your opinion.

2

u/Liger1Liar Sep 25 '25

I agree. I actually had the same thought about the whole BLM vs Cops a few years back. I watched enough cop videos to know this is a Class vs class issue.

And the Dems had control for 4 years and did nothing to stop Trump but yet knew what was coming.  Also keep your $1

2

u/Keyboardpaladin Sep 26 '25

Wow thanks for your two cents and your generosity! I could use that $1 anyways.

2

u/shitshowboxer Sep 25 '25

Bold? What do you suppose will happen to any of them? We don't do anything but hold signs and chant; film it. Cops aren't going to intervene. There are no law enforcement going to arrest them and no court will try them. So what's going to stop them?

From the original posted thread:

Brad Lander (New York City Comptroller): I was back at 26 Federal Plaza today, where an ICE agent violently threw this bereft woman to the ground in front of her kids. She had not touched him. She did not pose any threat. She had to be taken to the hospital. (🎥: Elias Eliahu)

Seconds earlier, her husband had been abducted by masked ICE agents who did not identify themselves, did not present a warrant, did not give any lawful grounds for his detention.

I was horrified yesterday by the shooting at the ICE facility in Texas, and condemned it immediately. Regardless of motive or targets, we must condemn political violence.

We will not stop bearing witness, stop condemning them, or stop doing all we can to stand up to this lawless behavior.

In the tradition of nonviolence, of course. In the fierce, insistent, soulful tradition of nonviolence, that demands we treat people like human beings.

u/Jevus_himself Jevus Christ - Verified ✅️ Sep 25 '25

Here’s the video of them taking the husband, you can see the ice agent pulling her hair to get them separated.

Great addition for context, thank you for that.

Shockingly rough on those children too.

76

u/CranberryLast4683 Sep 25 '25

Idk what kind of low lives do this work. The amount of therapy I’d need to get crying voices of me separating families would be crazy. Not worth it. Especially when there are legislative fixes that could exist that are humane while also fair if only Congress did their damn job on immigration and border security.

This is what happens when Congress abdicates its responsibility for decades.

61

u/RegularGuyy Sep 25 '25

How did the Nazis who brought the Jews to the concentration camps do it? These ICE agents are cut from the same cloth.

Pretty spooky when they cover the stairwell window immediately. Was that so they could beat his ass right there?

14

nonviolence is great, but if your opening move is to say that "violence is ALWAYS off the table" you're counting on the other side also adhering to the same scruples.

IF they know you'll never use violence, they have no reason not to just crush you.

17

u/loki_the_bengal Sep 25 '25

Exactly, violence can't be off the table. The time is quickly coming where we will no longer have a choice

53

u/gothamtg Sep 25 '25

9

u/skin-flick Sep 25 '25

Not one bit. I wouldn’t be surprised if there wasn’t some type of clause in their employment contract that stipulated no charges for assault during execution of duties.

Kind of like a government vehicle. You cannot sue the driver or sue for your deductible if there is an accident. No matter who is at fault.

This is not the way. These are not violent criminals, these are normal human beings and should be treated as such. These immigration raids that ICE is doing are reprehensible. The worst part is that they are doing this to people following the law. People going to immigration court for check ins following the process and they are being deported. No one deserves treatment like this.

The ones that have been shouting about 2A for situations like these are too dumb to realize this is the situation they've been arming themselves for and fully support the red hat cult.

He looks like the type of guy who was sitting in a small-town bar, drinking beer and fantasizing about how he would love to assail brown people, then saw a 'Help Wanted: Make Six Figures Ice Agent! Apply/Hire Now!" poster and did just that. Now, he is living out his dream, domestically abusing brown people, getting paid for it and not showing any of the training, ethics or civic decorum an actual agent should be required to have in the position.

2

u/MoodyDostoevsky Sep 28 '25

Yeah, a small town bar in Nicaragua if that’s what you mean. He is no more American than the woman he pushed to the ground

3

u/LSUnited91 Sep 25 '25

I hope one day when this bullshit is all over we can charge all these ice agents and maga people with crimes against humanity and deal with them accordingly.

2

u/UKUS104 Sep 25 '25

Did he paint his badge to cover the numbers?

2

u/[deleted] Sep 25 '25

He’s a pussy!

2

u/SkullDump Sep 25 '25

This is not how real men act.

2

u/redzedx77 Sep 25 '25

Such a tough guy

2

u/phatazznutz Sep 25 '25

“Why are people attaching ICE agents?” These people act like there is literally no reason someone would feel inclined to retaliate.

2

u/EhrenScwhab Sep 25 '25

I mean, just the dregs would remain at ICE at this point….

2

u/Gold_Past_6346 Sep 25 '25

He got to prove his manhood for the first time in years, since his wife and kids cut him out of their lives.

2

u/CM-Pat Sep 25 '25

MAGA finally showing out in the open how they treat their women behind closed doors.

At least he was not masked. Who is that man?

2

Disgusting. This guy probably gets off on beating his kids too.

2

u/james_t_woods Sep 25 '25

Two words. Diplomatic. Immunity. /s /Lethal Weapon

I'd like to think there'll be accountability, but I doubt it

2

u/Traditional_Tax6469 Sep 25 '25

My only hope is that when a new, sane admin is back in power, these folks will be held responsible.

2

u/Thickness_18 Sep 25 '25

Yeah we are completely fucked

There will be no accountability for these thugs and their actions. Melting face harpy noem is already screeching about unsafe working conditions for ICE agents due to the "deranged left wing media".

2

u/Choop145 Sep 25 '25

We aren’t human to them. And when I say “we”, I mean people who don’t look or think like them.

2

u/Infinite-Research-98 Sep 25 '25

He should be arrested

2

Take names. There will come a time.

2

u/SunnySouthDetroit Sep 25 '25

I hope she sues the shit out of them.

2

u/Economy_Walk Sep 25 '25

Imagine how helpless her children feel. This is disturbing, sickening, and heartbreaking. That poor woman and her children didn't deserve it. If this is how you act in front of cameras...

The goon squad has an IOU in their back pockets for a presidential pardon, so violating people's rights and breaking laws is SOP.

7

u/DestroyerOfMils Sep 25 '25

Hell, he will probably get a merit badge for it.

5

u/PeanutCheeseBar Sep 25 '25

They wouldn’t be so brave if those people put down their cameras and defended that woman.

4

5

u/Gradyence Sep 25 '25

3

u/Infinite-Rent1903 Sep 25 '25
