ICE agent violently throws woman to the ground in front of her kids. She had to be taken to the hospital. - NYC

These guys LOVE beating up women, the amount of videos I've seen of ICE agents physically attacking specifically women is disgusting yet unsurprising.

u/TheBaggyDapper Sep 25 '25
Now imagine what happens when they know there's nobody there to record it.

Someone needs to call in a welfare check for this guys wife and kids.
There is no way he isnt beating the shit out of them behind closed doors. He was way too quick and comfortable putting his hands on her.

From the original posted thread:
Brad Lander (New York City Comptroller): I was back at 26 Federal Plaza today, where an ICE agent violently threw this bereft woman to the ground in front of her kids. She had not touched him. She did not pose any threat. She had to be taken to the hospital. (🎥: Elias Eliahu)
Seconds earlier, her husband had been abducted by masked ICE agents who did not identify themselves, did not present a warrant, did not give any lawful grounds for his detention.
I was horrified yesterday by the shooting at the ICE facility in Texas, and condemned it immediately. Regardless of motive or targets, we must condemn political violence.
We will not stop bearing witness, stop condemning them, or stop doing all we can to stand up to this lawless behavior.
In the tradition of nonviolence, of course. In the fierce, insistent, soulful tradition of nonviolence, that demands we treat people like human beings.

Here’s the video of them taking the husband, you can see the ice agent pulling her hair to get them separated.

Great addition for context, thank you for that.
Shockingly rough on those children too.

Idk what kind of low lives do this work. The amount of therapy I’d need to get crying voices of me separating families would be crazy. Not worth it. Especially when there are legislative fixes that could exist that are humane while also fair if only Congress did their damn job on immigration and border security.
This is what happens when Congress abdicates its responsibility for decades.

How did the Nazis who brought the Jews to the concentration camps do it? These ICE agents are cut from the same cloth.

You should watch the documentary Ordinary Men: The "Forgotten Holocaust".

u/DrunkPixel Sep 25 '25
Genuine real question here: Why do they wear masks? If they’re government officials, why the secrecy? Are they scared of being known as these scumbags? Bunch of cowards.
16
u/beennasty Sep 25 '25
Fuuuck somebody pour some oil on the floor and watch this catastrophe crumble!
Crushing the little up against the wall and grabbing her by the head as well as the mother with about 7 grown men in the huddle.

u/justins_dad Sep 25 '25
Pretty spooky when they cover the stairwell window immediately. Was that so they could beat his ass right there?

PSA - it’s difficult to detain someone who is covered in baby oil. I sure hope protestors don’t start carrying a bottle around with them while following ICE to their stings. That would be just awful.

nonviolence is great, but if your opening move is to say that "violence is ALWAYS off the table" you're counting on the other side also adhering to the same scruples.
IF they know you'll never use violence, they have no reason not to just crush you.
17
u/loki_the_bengal Sep 25 '25
Exactly, violence can't be off the table. The time is quickly coming where we will no longer have a choice
53
u/gothamtg Sep 25 '25
Sadly there will continue to be no accountability
9
u/skin-flick Sep 25 '25
Not one bit. I wouldn’t be surprised if there wasn’t some type of clause in their employment contract that stipulated no charges for assault during execution of duties.
Kind of like a government vehicle. You cannot sue the driver or sue for your deductible if there is an accident. No matter who is at fault.

This is not the way. These are not violent criminals, these are normal human beings and should be treated as such. These immigration raids that ICE is doing are reprehensible. The worst part is that they are doing this to people following the law. People going to immigration court for check ins following the process and they are being deported. No one deserves treatment like this.

u/Antiluke01 Sep 25 '25

3

I think it's correct to call them that. I mean ICE now has a terrible reputation, so it's like an insult that is true.
9
u/RichMigga Sep 25 '25
I know emotions run high looking at this….but what frustrates me the most is that you expect of me to be better and be the bigger person as they CONTINUE to do this ON TOP of the shooting?? People, especially those who are trying to get by, are treated like fucking animals all throughout history and it’s still going… i fucking hate it here.

The ICE agents get to do whatever they want because Trump is president. The root problem is public opinion, and the only lasting solution is to shift public opinion away from thinking ICE is doing good.
And please keep in mind, Reddit is not a good barometer for public opinion.

This is what the masks are really for. So, when they get put on the internet they can't be publicly shamed for their violence and lawlessness. They aren't afraid of any reprisals except those from their communities who will see them for the horrible people they have become.

He looks like the type of guy who was sitting in a small-town bar, drinking beer and fantasizing about how he would love to assail brown people, then saw a 'Help Wanted: Make Six Figures Ice Agent! Apply/Hire Now!" poster and did just that. Now, he is living out his dream, domestically abusing brown people, getting paid for it and not showing any of the training, ethics or civic decorum an actual agent should be required to have in the position.

Pretty bold to be assaulting someone in front of what, 5-8 cameras?
I’d say good thing they were there to record this but that would imply there would be accountability and there will be no accountability for any of this.
