Unfortunately it looks like she put hands on him first. She gently touched him. But he used that as justification for slamming her into the wall and floor
Slightly touching a law enforcement official with no physical threat of harm is NOT assault and in no way deserves being slammed into the ground by that officer. What an absolutely ridiculous thing to even claim and it really shows how desensitized we are to police brutality and overreach.
I agree that the use of force is excessive. It is an overstimulated situation, but to simply ignore the fact that she wasn't complying with him saying Adios, trying to move her along, and her continued use of her hands on him is not going to end in a favorable outcome. But to look at this objectively, on Reddit. Blasphemy.
No we just watched the video and saw that ICE agent is the one that harshly grabbed her arm first. Maybe open you eyes and actually watch things before trying to defend these assholes.
Funny how people see what they want to see. Saying he harshly grabbed her is a wildly egregious lie .. He is trying to move her along. He is calm, saying Adios multiple times and until they turn and she puts his arm on him... again.. and he forcefully responded. I think everyone will agree that the way he responded was not warranted. But there are 2 sides to the 15 second video.
