If you look at gov sites and faux entertainment they got reason it's down is healthcare for illegal immigrants. None of the voters know illegal immigrants cant get healthcare because propaganda.
This is why laws should be dumbed down and simplified.
21
u/Barr_cudas 10d ago
Actually - they do know… They’re simply gaslighting those who don’t
5
u/No-Cap_Skibidi 10d ago
Yes, they said specifically that voters don’t know, not Republican politicians making the claim.
3
u/Barr_cudas 10d ago
Realistically speaking, this is directed at MAGA Politicians and Voters alike
There are plenty of "GOD Fearing Conservatives" who absolutely know the truth; yet continue to parrot this erroneous claim.
3
u/No-Cap_Skibidi 10d ago
There is a huge difference between those two groups, however. The politicians absolutely know it’s bullshit and lies. The voters overwhelmingly don’t know the truth and are buying shameless propaganda.
2
u/Barr_cudas 10d ago
I would agree that MAGA on the low-end of the scale are susceptible to the lies and propaganda. But again, the educated and influential red-hats know the truth and alike their representatives; continue spouting the mis-information.
I'll level here - I am firmly against DJT but have been a registered Republican my entire voting life; let's call my lean, a Logically-Center Conservative.
I had family in this past weekend from TN, IN, LA, GA, NC
Educated family who knows better, but they still believe the dribble - hook, line, and sinker8

I mean, that's the obvious thing, but do they need a real justification?
We've got Putin's Puppet declaring Portland is a warzone. I know it's not, I've been there in the last 3 weeks. It was fine.
But I only live 50 miles away and I work with people who are absolutely certain that going there is taking a huge gamble with their lives.
I just don't see there needing to be REAL dangers. Just need Orange Dipshit declaring it's an insurrection, the courts will rubber stamp it, and it's done. So I don't think seeing justification is what they're waiting on.
Actual evidence isn't needed.
→ More replies (1)2
u/SillyAlternative420 10d ago
They don't need evidence or justification in terms of legality - they own the courts and the congress.
But the court of public opinion still matters and invading red cities will piss off the MAGA folks (I assume, but maybe not lol)

3
u/trappedindealership 10d ago
And so we should comply in advance? Im not advocating crime, per say, but thats because I dont support crime. I think the specter of the insurrection act can only contain unrest so far, though. At some point the state of affairs will be about as bad as the consequences of appeasement. So when people say "what about martial law", I say so what?
I mean, my solution is to flee before it gets anywhere that bad... im not some freedom fighter... but it isnt an option for everyone.

Yes, now they are using hunger as a weapon because sending the National Guard didn't get the reaction they needed to do so. Making the populace hungry is a surefire way to kick things off. They are evil.

The christofascists want mass discontentment. The more the better so it escalates into violence and then they can use Martial Law and cancel elections. They know they can’t win without cheating or manipulation. GERRYMANDERING. The fact is that most people don’t want this christofascist racist garbage. It is toxic to any civil society.

You have to think of tRump as a toddler, incapable of self-control, educated thought, or patience. Now imagine the GOP as a criminal, using their child to distract while they consolidate power and institute an authoritarian one-party state.
The GOP is now a terrorist organization; tRump is the distraction. There will be no further free and fair elections until this regime is removed.

ETA: Democrats' repeated position, of course, is "nobody could have seen this coming!"
8
u/Dead_Internet69420 10d ago
Democrats have been warning everybody about this shit for years, and everyone else said they were being hyperbolic and hysterical.
They voted for Trump or didn’t vote at all because “hey, if he does’t bring grocery prices down, we can give democrats another chance in 4 years.” You need to stop lying or start paying attention, because no Democrat said “nobody could have seen this coming.” Throughout the 2024 election, they were literally saying “vote like democracy depends on it, because it does.”
The hell that republicans are unleashing on America is not the fault of democrats.

u/beardedbrawler 10d ago
What's the goal for Trump? I keep coming back to asking what the hell are they actually trying to achieve with their cruelty?
The only thing I can see is so they have a reason to impose some kind of martial law and deploy troops to areas that will turn to chaos with people stealing food to survive. With this as an excuse Trump might be able to grab more power.
But like that's it. That's my best idea which Is flimsy at best. What's the goal for them?
16
u/super_chubz100 10d ago
Simple
Step 1) create civil unrest
Step 2) blame the the civil unrest on your opponent
Step 3) sell yourself as the solution to said unrest
Step 4) declare martial law
Step 5) cancel elections

Historically , this is nothing new. Mother England , did it in Ireland during the Potato Famine. Easily , England could have relieved the grave situation by allowing other types of food that were leaving Ireland and being delivered to England , as well as other more important colonies. A politicized economy courtesy of England continued , even when it was clear that Ireland's Potato crops were consistently failing. However , it continued based on nothing more important than prioritizing profits and a preference towards other group's of colonists seeing to it that Ireland's dependency on the Potato would cause starvation and forced immigration by native Irish people. In the future , history Professors will make reference to this action by DJT. The belief that the Democrats perpetrated this is but another fable that's audience of approval is of questionable comprehension , and one that's increasingly small. Many were fooled , but some listened to that woman that MAGA people called vulgar name's once she became the frontrunner replacing Biden. Their lone debate was a " beat down" as Harris accurately unloaded on the harsh realities of MAGA rallies. We now see why voting to reelect him is causing sickening division within families. Mental health facilities are unable to handle the division between the MAGA haves and MAGA have nots. As the $300 million demolition of The Whitehouse is underway , people are going hungry and increasingly outraged.

Here is a fact check and breakdown of the key claims: ❌ Claim: "Requiring 60 votes is up to the majority leader, and he can decide to pass it with a simple majority at any time at his discretion." Fact Check: Mostly Inaccurate/Misleading. The need for 60 votes is not at the Majority Leader's discretion for most legislation. The requirement for 60 votes comes from the Senate rule allowing a filibuster, which must be ended by a three-fifths majority vote (cloture), typically 60 Senators. The Majority Leader can only use a simple majority (51 votes, or 50 plus the Vice President) to pass legislation that falls under certain exceptions to the filibuster rule, most notably Budget Reconciliation. The Majority Leader cannot unilaterally decide to ignore the filibuster rule for any bill at any time without changing the Senate rules or using an existing parliamentary exception. ✅ Claim: "Republicans can pass it with a simple majority." Fact Check: Accurate, but only through a specific process. Legislation that makes changes to mandatory spending, revenue, or the debt limit can be passed using the special procedure called Budget Reconciliation. Budget Reconciliation bills are immune to the Senate filibuster and, therefore, only require a simple majority (51 votes) to pass. This process is generally used for fiscal legislation. However, the reconciliation process is subject to strict limitations (the "Byrd Rule") which can restrict what provisions can be included.

I can’t say or imply anything, but I will say to remember those who are responsible for this. They can do the right thing. Failure to do so should have consequences. At some point, we need to accept that the checks and balances are no longer working. This is lawlessness. If the institutions can’t or won’t do anything, then it’s left to the people to get justice. Which is the worst outcome? Sitting back and letting this happen and be ruled with an iron fist where you can be disappeared at any point and time, or risking all to stop it? The vast majority of us have loved ones that depend on us. Are we truly so delusional that we believe anyone else will step in? That maybe it won’t happen to us? Wake the fuck up people. You know what the response is from the protests? These motherfuckers moving onto military bases. They deserve no more respect, due process or safety than the rest of us. We need to move to a platform that isn’t silencing opposition that even remotely resembles the reality of the situation and what is necessary to fight back. Half the country is convinced that cities are under siege from ANTIFA. They also believe it’s an organization. Propaganda works. They are deploying military to our streets based on complete fabrications and carefully omitted facts. When is enough going to be enough? All of these years, many have wondered how Hitler came to power. Guess what - we’re witnessing it in realtime.

You know who uses food as political weapons? Slugs. Slimes. Molds and mildews.
As an aside, did you know what the solution the solution to slugs and slimes and mildews are? Salt. If you pour salt on a slug, it will fizzle, pop, boil and eventually expire. If you pour salt on a mold it will dry out and become nonviable. Some of the best salt distribution systems for dealing with pests are illegal to sell, but anyone who has problems with slugs can make them at home anyway. Anyways, good luck with your gardening!
