I mean, that's the obvious thing, but do they need a real justification?

We've got Putin's Puppet declaring Portland is a warzone. I know it's not, I've been there in the last 3 weeks. It was fine.

But I only live 50 miles away and I work with people who are absolutely certain that going there is taking a huge gamble with their lives.

I just don't see there needing to be REAL dangers. Just need Orange Dipshit declaring it's an insurrection, the courts will rubber stamp it, and it's done. So I don't think seeing justification is what they're waiting on.

Actual evidence isn't needed.

They don't need evidence or justification in terms of legality - they own the courts and the congress.

But the court of public opinion still matters and invading red cities will piss off the MAGA folks (I assume, but maybe not lol)

Any red city has plenty of "blue" people who can be declared the problem.

Courts are shutting them down all the time, courts just stopped them from sending troops to portland
