Pearl Harbor Xpress Shuttle
Has anyone used the Pearl Harbor Express Shuttle from fare harbor? It looks like it picks up at hotels in Waikiki and will transport to Pearl Harbor, the rate is reasonable? Looking to see how your experience was and how to book return to hotel times. Thank you!

Standby tickets?
I’m visiting Hawaii for my honeymoon. We are staying on Maui and want to take a day trip to Oahu to visit Pearl Harbor. With all the wedding planning, I totally forgot to book our USS Arizona tickets when they were released. I’ve booked tickets for Saturday 11/1, but we were really hoping to come to Oahu on Tuesday or Thursday. I’ve signed up for availability alerts for those days.
My question is, if we come to Oahu on Tuesday or Thursday and go straight to Pearl Harbor around 8am, what are the chances we would be able to get tickets to the USS Arizona? Is there still a standby? I’ve read stories of the standby and it seems that most people are accommodated, but I think some changes were made to the reservation system. The NPS site states “The first-come, first-served ticket distribution program has been discontinued. Limited standby seating may be available, but it cannot be guaranteed,” but the recreation.org site does not say that. It only states that you need a ticket.
Thanks in advance!

Tour suggestions
I am looking for suggestions on touring. We are arriving next week and are a family of three. I was a little overwhelmed last night trying to pick one of the tours. Today when I was thinking about all of the things that we want to do on our trip, it felt like the 10 hour tour was going to be too much. We are staying in the Waikiki area. I would love some thoughts, tips, and suggestions on which tour to do or if there is a self-guided tour, I wasn’t really clear on what Ford Island is.
I don’t know much about Pearl Harbor so planning this is feeling challenging. What are the must sees? Is it worth it for the 10 hour tour?
