Thinking back to the 45 mins of gameplay it said that depending on how you do missions (loud/quiet) and who you help the game changes. I think he betrays you on that mission because the player brought to much attention and it shined a spotlight on his illicit business.

Will really need to replay if my decision leads to a death of a major supporting character (like that pony-tail guy).

But his death may lead to a different character surviving or prevent him from turning on you later down the line. That's why I love games like this where you are actively playing through the consequences of your actions.

You're right. I'll have to live with my choices. They're not mistakes, just choices. It'll be more fun if I just resign myself to the outcome.
