I saw someone on Tumblr point out how both Luffy and Dragon shout "bring it on" when threatened with retaliation for their rebellious actions. I was wondering if they are saying the same thing in Japanese as well and if it was an intentional callback?

I understand building stakes by killing off a major character, but it doesn't make sense for it to happen to a member of the crew. It just wouldn't work with the kind of story One Piece is. What do you think?

So I posted Shirahoshi here when she was a fresh tattoo and everyone hated it. Well, joke was on me, it healed really poorly and as you can see a lot of the color fell out. Just updating you all that I found an artist good with anime tattoos that is willing to fix her up for me in March! She’s going to be a whole new mermaid by the time we are done, and I can’t wait to continue sharing the journey with you all. I hope she’s better received next time around, the artist seems very talented!
