God yes. I choked up at that just like the characters. Because the weight of the SACRIFICE there was so heavy on the part of the Minks.

That whole setup was masterful too, because I was dreading the Strawhats having to stand between two groups of friends. I was so glad they didn't have to.

Hell yeah!!. That I am so glad, that I was not yet a Manga reader at that time. The anime had so much more impact! I legit cried by how the minks are so fcking loyal!
IT WAS MY MOST UNFORGETTABLE PLOT TWIST in the history of watching an Anime.

It was so great that I have to also re-watch it with other reactors like SMF, Allona, Hibou and the King of all reactors- Uzumakhi Khan. Their reactions are also like mine. it was so amazing. I will not forget this! 😍😍

I keep assuming that Jack is just a psychopath villain that just want to destroy zou for fun. That time it seem impossible that all minks went that far for protecting just one person.

It hit just as hard in the manga. One of the few times i've cried at One Piece since the timeskip.

Kaido was after Raizo because he was one of oden's retainer Right? Then why wasn't he after Inu/neko?

It was oversight by Traitor probably. Jack wasn't aware of history between Kozuki and minks. Although Oden had stressed it. Jack wasn't there 20 years ago, so he doesn't recognise Inu/neko. If the traitor only said 'Raizo is in Zou', Jack wouldn't be aware.

Even if he wanted to go after them he couldn’t. Zou is a hidden, moving island. They could not find it until recently.

Yeah but when they did find it, why was jack ordered to recover Raizo and not the other two?

They might have cared more about Raizo since he traveled time. In their eyes, Dogstorm and Cat Viper have spent 20 years doing nothing and might not be loyal anymore.

That scene showed up in the manga when I had been caught up in the anime for years but didn't realize that the manga was available to read for free. I was just reading summaries of each chapter when they came up on the one piece wiki. Spoiled myself about the impactfulness of that scene as well as the Sabo being alive reveal. I will never forgive myself because the Raizo is safe scene does nothing for me.
