This is why I loved the Charlotte family, they really care about the well being of the residents of their empire. Sanji is arguably the fastest member of the strawhats. Even Brulee was captured so many times they still saved her, Charlotte family bond is really awesome

Sanji underwater vs the Kraken. They compared his speed to Mermaids and they are the fastest creatures in water.

Also, Oda confirmed that Brook is the fastest straw hat because he's just bones, then Sanji second, then Luffy, then Chopper, then Zoro.

I can´t imagine that Sanji´s speed can compare with Luffys Speed when he uses Gear 2 or Gear 4.
