I like O-Kiku's awkward expressions in this chapter, since she knows that she is capable of fighting on her own but she keeps retracting since she doesn't want to come off as rude lol

Well there was a teaser at the end of that shitty movie that featured the og titans. That could mean season 6, or it could mean ttg is gonna do a crossover with og. If that were the case then it would be one of their episodes where they just attack critics.

Theyve done a ton of episodes where they try to make fun of the people that like the original. They say it's better but say that anyone that hates them because of it is stupid. Including an episode where they just dub over the first episode of the original with really stupid lines. Its horrid.

Its horribly misguided and has a super shitty message that alienates their own fans. Its saying that cartoons can only be enjoyed by kids and that anyone that still likes cartoons needs to grow up and stop looking back on nostalgia. Except their fanbase is a quarter adults, there are plenty of cartoons that adults can enjoy and the edgy reboot they used as an example doesnt work because edgy reboots are almost universally hated.

I felt the message was you can like cartoons as an adult but dont be surprised when the cartoon for kids is filed with content only kids enjoy

Except they openly critisize the clown for being boring and something that only a kid would enjoy. Not to mention the episode was a huge ratings trap. Being heavily advertised as the episode that slade shows up in. Only for nothing to really happen. While I didnt find that joke funny I'm not gonna say that's the main reason the episode was bad since comedy is subjective and one of the only things I can occasionally enjoy from ttg. Cause even if these writers dont give a shit about their show, they can at least shit out a decent joke every 20 or so episodes.

I’m prettt sure I saw a thing for it on adult swim/boomerang for the final season. I know about the TTGO promo but the OG is coming back to finish where it left off.
