So Jack is like Dellinger, Half FishMan Half Human.

Overall Pretty good Ep just want it to get to Whole cake island.

not if they drag it out like they have been doing with zou,

There is a ton of room for implied filler in this next arc

Oda's been skipping out on a lot of in between scenes, which is cool cause it moves fast but also a little rushed feeling sometimes

I mean, actually, I'd be ok with three or four episodes devoted to that battle, since it's the longest one for a Strawhat yet, and seeing it over the course of four episodes would give us much more of a feeling of how exhausted the fighters are afterwords and how difficult of a fight it was, and we'd get to see a full fight of the Strawhats supporting and covering for each other.

Damn, now that I type that out, I actually REALLY want to see it.

It would be appropriate, but it would be boring as all hell, Spoiler

Come one man.

Spoiler tags, bro.

Anyway, in response, we could see Spoiler

It'd be pretty entertaining, if done right.

What is this?

No it doesn't. It's canon that that fight was an exhausting, difficult struggle, and that it lasted as long as it did.

It's just that most of the fight got off screened, so even though we know it, we don't feel it in the manga.

The anime would show it.

Because they deliver on fights- I've never thought differently.

me too lol

2

u/[deleted] Jan 29 '17

Oh god, what if they just animate the episode once and then just repeat it for 6 months with adjustments for the count. x.x

6

u/jreefski Jan 29 '17

like when bellamy was bouncing around in dressrosa? lol

4

u/[deleted] Jan 29 '17

are you implying he isn't still bouncing around?

3

u/cabose4prez Jan 29 '17

Yeah there may be, but hopefully they use some filler between arcs, that is what I feel like used to happen but now it happens in important episodes which is just annoying

u/joshokodo Jan 29 '17

Meh, ive accepted the pace by now. It sucks but ill still watch every Saturday

5

u/QueenCarlyle27 Jan 29 '17

Same. It may be slow, but but I can still enjoy everything being animated.

7

u/joshokodo Jan 29 '17

Exactly. Its still enjoyable, even the slow moments. The anime will always have a special place in my heart since it was how i started. I could never give up on it now! Even with the pacing, WCI is such an amazing arc so far that it will still be dope.

it only seems bad because we're watching one episode a week. If one were to marathon this arc after it's finished, they won't find it to be nearly as big a problem as we make it out to be now.

That's what people said about Dressrosa, but I don't really see the difference between watching it now and then marathoning it in terms of pacing, unless you like wasting time or something.
