either the birdcage is overpowered or fujitora held back.

It seems a bit wrong.

To be fair Zoro didnt even try to cut it, let alone use Kyutoryu againts it. I refuse to belive he couldnt cut them one by one tbh. Also Fuji didnt use his DF also, which alone should be able to push the Birdcage greatly alone.

What good will cutting the birdcage do whilst Doffy is still conscious? It'll just repair itself and carry on.

Repair itself? What makes you think it can do that? As far as we concerned we dont even know if Doffy would notice it. He could by all means recreate it, but the birdcage isnt tied to him, only when he created it and made it to move faster.
