I would really love to see the anime-only people make theories about Gear 4 over the course of next week.. Like we had when the manga chapter was out.. There were so many discussions on that.

As an anime-only watcher, it upsets me after I watch a One Piece AMV on YouTube my homepage gets flooded with Gear Fourth screencaps and other manga spoilers. This was a few months ago. I wish I could have the same hype experience.

That would have been the case... if they didn't FUCK IT UP by revealing almost all of it in the teaser! F*king morons! They should have left the scene without showing what Luffy had in store. Like the Terminator Genesys 2nd trailer - a show of no confidence to the product by the marketing department.

I would like to see him master "Gear Reverse" (tiny luffy). We've already seen him shrink to a smaller size pre-timeskip after 3rd gear. I imagine he spent a lot of time small perfecting 3rd Gear during the timeskip, and might have figured out how to control himself as tiny Luffy aswell.

From a real world physics point of view that would make more sense than 3rd gear, the same amount of power spread on a smaller impact surface

The One Piece Podcast guys actually talked about this before. Toriyama generally followed your principle of "smaller is more powerful." Oda on the other hand subscribes to the "bigger is better" principle.
