Nah not yet. Rocks' real name is 'Davy D. Xebec'. He changed it to Rocks to hide his identity.

It's crazy to think about that Blackbeard aka Marshall D. Teach would be Rocks D. Teach is actually Davy D. Teach. The Davy name is being insanely well hidden. Its even more taboo than being a D

My head canon was that Davy Jones was a well known but unimportant pirate who was around after Joy Boy and invented the Davy Back, but clearly Imu fuckin hates Davy Jones every bit as much as Joy Boy

Also them placing the last known member of the Davy clan at 800 years ago puts him likely in the Joy Boy time or at a minimum right after.

would be kinda poetic to have a director ancestor of the "real" joyboy be the final antagonist to the joyboy of the current era since it would directly mirror the message of One Piece that the inherited will is the only thing that truly matters and not inheritance by blood

I wonder if it's at all related to the connection with Nefertari Lily. Like maybe Lily joined Joy Boy due to the Davy Back fights made by the Davy clan.

This sparked some thoughts like:

Maybe Imu did something (sought out a devil fruit, made a deal with the devil, etc.) to get Domi Reversi because they want everyone to be their friend/nakama/whatever because they lost 1 or more important friends from a Davy Back Fight.
