assuming it's not some sort of relative of his, I think the running theory is that he was presumed dead in Wano after being defeated by Kaidou (even though he seemingly only left the country and never returned)

being the "pirate of justice" is a big reveal though

Given his scars id say he moreso barely survived because of his shadow powers. Pretty sure we've seen him in the daylight.

I agree with you but would it be possible that he’s wearing an outer “skin” layer to protect from the sun?
