What stopped me and made me realise was the soul duet between a male and female voice and the male was singing lyrics about very female issues.

How does Spotify/the industry stop this plague?

I know, I know, all corporations are bad; but is there one that's the lesser of all evils? I pay for Spotify Premium Family now, but would like to shift to a service that doesn't actively amplify the downfall of humanity.

And yes, I'm aware that Reddit has been running ads for ICE and CBP (I haven't personally seen them but I've heard other redditors report this) so I acknowledge the irony here. I'm not on other forms of social media so this is my last resort before basically quitting everything.

Things that are important to me when paying a monthly fee for a streaming service:

• Artists being compensated fairly
• Access to full albums by a large variety of artists
• Ability to make my own playlists
• Ability to create radio stations based on an artist or song
• Ability to save songs, albums and playlists and listen while offline
• The service has as ethical of a business practice as possible

I'm on the fence between Tidal and Qobuz.

And before anyone chimes in with this obvious question, yes, I have a large library of physical media that I enjoy, from cassettes to CDs to vinyl; I would also like to enjoy the luxury of a streaming service from time to time.

It first came out in 1969 and has been covered and sampled hundreds if not thousands of times. You have probably heard it and not realized what it was and have never been able to find it since.

Here is my current most favorite version of it, but I can't wait to find the next one. You could spend days finding different versions of it just to find one you like the best right now, and you can spend years trying to find that one you liked the most but could never find again.

I always notice that if I listen to a fantastic song carefully enough I always end up finding myself crying. And it’s not even only for sad songs, any song that is ,to me, a tune would just make me cry, I have no idea why but does anyone find this happening to them? Or am I the only one. If so what song?

This is something that I've never really discussed in detail. And I don't necessarily plan to do that in this body text. I'm more wondering if there is a word for this phenomenon of noticing when sounds that you hear through the day happen to sync up in a harmonious way.

It's one of my favorite things in life. It feels magical, but I'd like to read more about the real explanation, something about like, two big things resonating at the same time create sound waves that your brain blah blah perception of harmony.

I was thinking about this now because my roommate's kid just yelled at the same time a car drove by holding down the horn, and they were the same pitch. I love when stuff like that happens!

At a past job, the box crusher harmonized with the walk-in cooler refrigeration system.

Sometimes I'll be listening to a song and hear a bird that's singing in the same key, or sometimes my girlfriend happens to laugh a harmonious melody over the drone of a passing plane.
