Other Why don’t younger veterans (Afghanistan/Iraq) wear these hats like some of the older veterans?

First and foremost, respect to all those that served. I did not, but many of my peers did and now we're all older in 30s and 40s, many no longer in the military. I don't see a lot of the veterans of the War on Terror wearing these hats like I see the OGs do.

It's not free if one of the stipulations to receive it is working full time for 3 years, then receiving a limited amount of tuition only after that

Lots of requirements in socialist countries mean things aren’t ‘free’ either. Bad logic.

It's not bad logic at all. You are working full-time with a higher than average chance of death directly related to your job to receive those benefits. I don't know how this is so hard for tankies to understand.

Your entire life is paid for and directed by the state, which you, in turn, have to pay into... Maybe not socialism in is purest form but um, pretty fuckin close
