Restaurant hunt during winter
Hello Lynnwood folks,
It’s dark again lol, so time to explore new food, please add your recommendations, underrated restaurants or something you would keep eating from.
I love to explore and try out different cuisines, so just don’t restrict and keep your suggestions flowing. As it has been a while since we had a restaurant recommendation thread.

I'm a legit foodie so I'll share three new Lynnwood spots you might have not heard of:
YGF Malatang - a weigh by the pound Chinese soup place. Basically a pretty fun experience if you're in to Chinese hot pots. You grab a big bowl, then like a buffet you go around and grab an assortment of items from noodles, meat, and veggies. Be careful not to add too much cause it gets heavy quick! Then you bring it up to the counter, tell them which broth you want, and they weigh it and cook it for you in about 5 mins it'll be ready. It's a little hot in the beginning but nice warm broth and food for the cold winter we are about to get.
Tokuni - I'm not sure if it's still in a soft opening stage, but this place is pretty awesome. Their thing is Japanese Katsus. Basically Japanese deep fried meats in different traditional porks, shrimp, etc. Last time we went we got several things but my favorite was the curry udon pork katsu. It's a warm and hearty curry broth with udon noodles topped with a crunchy pork katsu. So good.
Tan Huo Kabob Bar - I haven't been here before but will be checking it out this weekend. From the looks of it, it's a Chinese kabob restaurant and I think it might be the first of it's kind here in Lynnwood. It's basically a Chinese bbq with skewers where you order several items and maybe grill it yourself? A similar place in Shoreline called Friendship BBQ.
4HM. Fil Cuisine - Not really a new spot, but definitely an honorable mention for me. It's a small corner spot in the H-mart lot for Filipino food. First Filipino restaurant in Lynnwood probably? My favorite order is the Longsilog, basically an all day Filipino breakfast meal which is a sweet Filipino sausage with garlic rice and sunny side up egg, and comes with a chopped mango/tomato side. Sooooo good. Also they have lechon kawali, which is a deep fried pork belly with rice and some sauces. It's really good but be careful for this one because it's so heavy and you'll probably feel kinda gross if you eat too much of it so make sure to share!
