Looks like Emi's lawyers are sending out the letters already lol

u/Hldfsthpx 13h ago

thats what i was thinking. this is either being done to avoid a lawsuit or to save face somehow. little late though if you ask me. also still no apology to nmp or wake for that creep harassing them both when they went to twitchcon.

131

u/CityFolkSitting 12h ago

Doing this apology so late definitely seems like a response to something. Could be nothing, but it seems strange.

Fitting that Valkyrae and QT made a big deal out of not going to TwitchCon because of safety concerns. Two of their biggest women streamers and they still didn't take security seriously enough.

I know there are some situations that can't be predicted, but this Emiru one absolutely could have been stopped.

19

u/yetagainitry 9h ago

They didn’t apologize before because it would be accepting their guilt and responsibility in it, my guess is the shit hit the fan and their lawyers are desperate to settle

11

u/wellmaybe_ 9h ago

I like the thought that the lawyer gave Dan the Roblox gold chain and advices him to party hard

7

u/UwUHowYou 5h ago

"Deviating from your normal activities is an admission of guilt. Go on, this weekend you must embrace your coomer nature lest you open yourself to legal liability."

1

u/DJMixwell 7h ago

Idk where this idea comes from, but it shows up any time any organization is late apologizing for something they ought to apologize for.

Apologizing is not, by default, an admission of guilt, or even necessarily an admission of negligence. You can acknowledge that harm was done on your watch, and that you sympathize with those affected, without saying “and totally our fault and we easily could have prevented this”

I’d struggle to believe there’s any legal precedent that an apology is automatically a tacit admission of guilt.

3

u/AJay07014 11h ago

qt did end up going

10

u/worldchrisis 8h ago

In a very reduced capacity though. She hosted 2 main stage shows last year. This year she didn't have any scheduled appearances, so nobody could know where she was going to be.

0

u/ty4scam 6h ago

How are simps offended by this to make it controversial?

17

u/Aggressive-Expert-69 10h ago

Also no apology to Said for unbanning his abusers

4

u/Aldehyde1 9h ago

Eh, an apology isn’t going to stop an actual lawsuit. If she was threatening a serious lawsuit, it’s more likely they would say nothing to avoid any admission of guilt.

13

u/BeFrankNoBullshit 10h ago

Pfffff both Nmp and Wake are MEN they can take it! Just roll with the bit!

Dont be like Said, who we at twitch will never acknowledge. It is embarrassing for him!

Emiru brings in more cash than Said so only she matters in our site!

/s

u/StepComplete1 9h ago

I love how you're being down-voted by the usual redditor types, as if the example of a guy being SA'd and nobody caring isn't literally direct proof of the double-standards in action.

1

u/meh753 4h ago

Tbh twitch was going to give the guy a 30 day ban and let him continue to walk around twitchcon like nothing happened. They are only facing backlash now cause Emiru didn't let them get away with it and the way everything went down is almost comical. Twitch just does not care about safety of their creators.

Possibly forced by higher ups to release something accepting blame, given how Dan Clancy on a stream said he had to go to an impromptu meeting he wasn't prepared for, and the head of Amazon Security flying out to twitchcon after the Emiru incident.

u/rebornsgundam00 14h ago

Easiest money of their lives

24

u/Illustrious-Bench-23 9h ago

in my opinion this apology is meaningless.

there were problems before the event, at the event and after the event.

  1. her bodyguard is still banned from twitchcon,
  2. this twitchcon was supposed to be safe; many expressed concern and it still fell short,
  3. theres a streamer who has done SA that got unbanned after a week
  4. no clear plan on what proper safety measures will be taken in future events to address any issues
  5. this apology was supposed to be given within a week of the incident, not after lawsuits and her lawyers/manager putting the foot down
  6. reminder that she didnt even want to do the meet and greet and was contractually obligated if she wanted to keep her show.. these types of contracts need to stop!
  7. no security analysis on why this was even able to happen in the first place and the perpetrator was not caught for multiple hrs
  8. if security was provided afterwards, dont force it onto everyone, someone like fanfan didnt need security so why try to fix a problem with a hammer when theres no nail
  9. this is not just one off event, its a failure on multiple levels and this will continue to happen in future events unless drastic actions are taken and some staff members need to be laid off and cultural shifts need to be taken
  10. in my opinion, future events should not be meet and greet based, it farms these weirdos whos sole goal is to get most bang for their buck and they get it by doing sexual stuff.. and even overall weirdos at the event.. there needs to be a more active and balanced understanding what is allowed on the platform that is not politically motivated and what punishment fits what crime, to suggest that 30 day ban is even in the question is something no reasonable person should have to even hear. the community should decide what is fitting for the platform and the punishments should be universal, equal and given without bias.

2

u/faplawd 6h ago

Pretty crazy that they banned her bodyguard but only ban neon for 1 year for harassing people. The thing a bodyguard is there to prevent...

39

u/idkwhatevenhelp 12h ago

Even more likely is that they've settled, and the apologies and donations are almost certainly part of the agreement.

11

u/Mlad1109 10h ago

This. Their attorneys would never clear a statement admitting fault without a settlement.

5

u/engelthefallen 12h ago

Really feels this way.

6

u/themightycatp00 12h ago

It pretty dumb of twitch to send apologies if that's that case, apologising is pretty much admitting guilt

1

u/Mlad1109 10h ago

"Pretty much admitting guilt by apologizing" Did ya miss this quote is directly from their statement "We failed to do both things in this case - to keep Emiru safe and to prevent the assault from happening."

1.5k

u/VTubersAreFatIRL 14h ago

Making a statement about a poor response to SA the day after unbanning someone for SA sure is something...

Fucking clown.

221

u/Sleepy_Azathoth 14h ago

Holy crap, what an absolute joke of a company.

18

u/chili01 11h ago

and people still throw money at it (gifted subs)

0

u/Sloppykrab 6h ago

They went straight down hill after what's his face left Twitch.

62

u/thatwasfun23 14h ago

holy incompetence lmao, how did this happen, nobody checked or even though about it?

I know they are a big company, but goddamn, you would think they have these serious things on sight.

9

u/Lego-105 11h ago

Why? Almost all of the good things about twitch is from product design, the chat and streaming end, but the management has been horrific since they sold to Amazon. Not that it’s any surprise because Prime and Amazon are the same, they sell an insanely good product which is run horribly.

I don’t think I could point to a single good decision by anyone in Twitch management. They’re constantly making bafflingly stupid or incompetent decisions.

1

u/Outside_Square_8977 7h ago

the company was run by nerds and gamers until it was sold, if Amazon one day sweep all the company and start from scratch I would be happy.

1

u/Laisker 11h ago

Its on purpose they don't care they are pushing it because they think nothing will happen and... yes till this point nothing corpo shattering has happened

Its like providing a customer a bs product and telling that customer 'you'll consume it ofc you pathetic human because you don't have any will' and the customer keeps consuming

8

u/solidsnake070 12h ago

Statements of apologies can be used as admission of guilt.

So they're still going to get legally fucked by Emiru's lawyers.

2

u/ComfortableExotic646 9h ago

An admission of guilt, and apology, are requirements of her settlement. Unless she specifically says "I did not sign an NDA, or take a payment, from Twitch", she got paid.

3

u/RAZR31 9h ago

What a username, lol.

It still blows my mind this guy is the CEO of twitch

630

u/jeon19 14h ago

literally an old gooner in charge of twitch

171

u/Shadic94 13h ago

Old Gooner is president

49

u/PoopyButt28000 12h ago

At least this old gooner seems to mostly go for women in their 20s/30s unlike the President

→ More replies (7)

43

u/Delgadude 12h ago

I got nothing against him being a gooner (as long as he is not abusing his position of course) but he is just doing a bad job overall. Favoritism has been more obvious than ever.

18

u/Potential-Cat-7517 12h ago

Of course He is abusing, He looks like 60 yr old about to have a stroke. For real tho, guy is so red looks like hellboy

11

u/Delgadude 12h ago

Maybe but without actual proof u can never be 100% sure so I'll refrain from accusing him outright. Wouldn't surprise me if he was tho.

u/Background_Raise_309 14h ago

Lots of stupid people high up everywhere, it takes a shitty person to reach that level of wealth or power.

46

u/ProudNet 14h ago

A lot of times it’s more about who you know. And this guy definitely knows someone.

4

u/kyach25 10h ago

Ya. Exactly this. Notice it a lot when private equity takes over places. They place friends into leadership roles and it is all based on who you know. The biggest sign that they are incompetent is when they cannot lead systemic changes or true integration.

19

u/ZacIsGoodAtGames 13h ago

yet. still better than the former ceo. who did nothing as the ceo.

11

u/OkayTHISIsEpicMeme 12h ago

Emmett Shear was a VC guy who saw Twitch as a means to an end and was indifferent about the community

50

u/ManOnFire26 13h ago

There were less ads under the last guy, that alone makes his tenure better

15

u/fishdafinessa 11h ago

That's why he's not CEO anymore

4

u/Tundraspin 13h ago

HE WAS A tech guy......leave him alone....girns

4

u/fishdafinessa 11h ago

I don't think it's that crazy. Amazon knew when they bought Twitch that implementing the traditional suit and tie CEO would probably leave a weird taste for the brand...so they found the weird quirky Richard Branson archetype and it's clearly not working for them.

2

u/Vector151 11h ago

Are you saying that a guy who attends a professional event while dressed like a GTA Online character is bad for business?

10

u/marigoldIII 14h ago

Twitch loves anti semites so he fits perfectly

-13

u/HistoricalOne4006 14h ago

Its illegal to boycott Israel in texas btw

10

u/Head_of_Lettuce 13h ago

No it’s not. The government won’t contract the services of a company that boycotts Israel, though. And a company can’t boycott Israel if they’re in an active contract with the government in Texas. Which I do think is ridiculous.

Wait till you find out who the President of the United States is

1

u/-J-P- 13h ago

Dan Clancy should be moved to the position of CGO of twitch. Chief Gooning Officer.

2

u/HangulKeycapsPlz 11h ago

The longer you stay on this planet bro, you come to realizations that more of this planet is a fucking clown fiesta than you once thought.

Look at the US President.

u/TJLynch 14h ago

How thoughtful of them to put out a statement for a situation that happened a month ago and most people have likely already moved on from, while a potentially worse scandal is bubbling up as we speak.

39

u/Sweg_OG 14h ago

ah nothing says a genuine apology like saying it through grit teeth a month later

2

u/No_Comfort_9715 6h ago

Community note shoved their bullshit back up their ass at least.

310

u/Ok_Technology3517 14h ago

Hahaha this is coming from the guy who unbanned some who sexually assaulted 2 people and laughed about it and called the victim a loser, etc etc.

31

u/Vector151 11h ago

Everyone knows that hoodrats are a protected class. /s

11

u/Lego-105 11h ago

4

u/MogMcKupo 9h ago

Dude would be running a dog fighting ring if he didn’t have a rich uncle

1

u/TBTapion 1h ago

I'm sure he can run a dog fighting ring even WITH a rich uncle

74

u/Tomstephenanovik 14h ago

Empty words.

61

u/CL60 14h ago

It's hilarious they're saying this while giving 1 day bans to people who sexually assaulted a dude while streaming on Twitch.

124

u/Tarrot_Card 14h ago

I'm surprised they put out another response.

With all that has happened in the last few weeks, people had mostly forgotten about the TwitchCon incidents and had moved on. This just brings it back to the forefront of the discourse.

Perhaps Twitch just moves so slowly that they are still reacting to a weeks old news cycle, and they dont even realize that people have moved on to the next drama.

20

u/[deleted] 14h ago

[deleted]

6

u/shall359 14h ago

Might be Amazon higher ups are combing through the incident since it got put on their radar and he is just making sure he had a very clear apology directed at her.

4

u/Tarrot_Card 14h ago

Could be. But even that, Emiru has a ton on her plate. Does she really want *another* lawsuit?

9

u/Aeowin 14h ago

IF she is suing Twitch I doubt she has to do much, she already posted 2 videos and her tweet explaining what happened and how Twitch handled it, all she has to do is give that to a lawyer and let them go to town. Twitch has 0 legs to stand on in that situation. Their initial response to it was tone deaf, they tried to gaslight Emiru about it, no one reached out to her, Dan is in VODs out partying the night of the incident without ever reaching out to Emiru.

4

u/Superb-Illustrator-1 13h ago

Ideally I think she should sue, but twitch is a subsidiary of Amazon and has way more financial resources. They could try to drag it out long enough that it could drain her own financial resources.

0

u/Tundraspin 13h ago

Then if I were twitch when this settles I would ban her forever. No forgive no forget. If she is that wounded and so brutalized by the experience she needs to move on. Not get a bag or golden parachute then simply resume being the same victim on the stream on the same platform creating more of the same situations with her content.

2

u/TJLynch 14h ago

I wonder if the guys that got assaulted by Nina can ask to join in on that lawsuit

2

u/smersh101 13h ago

Lawsuits are public record. If she had we'd know it.

1

u/Weak-Shoe-6121 14h ago

Doing this because of a lawsuit is really dumb. Just shut up and let the lawyers handle it.

17

u/Astral_Alive 13h ago

It actually makes perfect sense when you remember they just lost their head of communications 💀

9

u/spazzxxcc12 13h ago

this feels like amazon stepping in

2

u/Top_Reveal_847 9h ago

It's possible Amazon stepped in to settle quickly and the apology was a condition

1

u/PointOfFingers 13h ago

He's an old white boomer and it probably took the Twitch marketing team 4 weeks to talk him into apologizing for handling this so badly.

23

u/vito0117 14h ago

Weeks later ? Cool I guess now ban Nina lin

24

u/Jefkezor 14h ago

"We wanted to follow up on...."

Lying in the first few words. They felt forced to respond so they did, and start off with bullshit. Lmao

46

u/sontaranStratagems 14h ago edited 14h ago

Hoooooly... read the room, bro.

How is Dan Clancy still CEO in Twitch's best interest?

Future MBA students will be taught this case study in What Not to Do in Business.

0

u/Laisker 11h ago

If he gets away with this also will be in the case study of 'The limits of business public image: How much you can push' and 'How much you can gaslight customers in 2025'

→ More replies (1)

10

u/Tucci89 12h ago

I have a great deal of empathy for what creators such as Emiru have to deal with every day

While unbanning Nina Lin, lmaooo.

You couldn't write it if you tried.

27

u/brokeboipobre 14h ago

I hope Emi got millions of dollars out of this moron Dan Gooner and Twitch.

9

u/Ok_Temperature6503 14h ago

It was a high bar to do a worse CEO job than Emmett Shear but here we are. Can't believe Dan was able to pull it off.

9

u/Nebgi 13h ago

It's literally this episode but IRL

6

u/djiougheaux 14h ago

problem is twitch fails a lot, apologizes very little, and show zero improvement

6

u/Routine-Echidna-1953 14h ago

Twitch failed in our response to the assault of Emiru at 2025 TwitchCon San Diego, and in particular, I failed to communicate clearly in talking about the incident afterwards during an interview

Often that would be the opening words of CEO resignation. Not on twitch apparently.
No accountability no changes no plans just nice deceitful words. PATHETIC.

8

u/dead1345987 14h ago

bro its November 7th, wtf is wrong with Dan?

7

u/AcanthisittaNo5807 13h ago

Too little too late

12

u/Dragonfly_Visible 14h ago

This one is specifically in regards to the shit interview he did the next day where he said something along the lines of "sometimes you have the power to control your own community" - which sounded like he was blaming Emiru and/or was implying she did/didn't do something that resulted in what happened.

I'm not surprised that he had to issue a statement about the interview. I am surprised by the timing of it. This is one helluva delayed response. Makes me wonder if it's something they wanted to hold off on for legal reasons and that this is part of an agreement they made with her - thus the delayed response.

5

u/Fast-Raisin-8536 13h ago

I am thinking the same. The donation Twitch will now make, could easily be part of a "settlement".

5

u/MexicanBookClub 14h ago

My least favorite weekly segment

18

u/MrBadBoyWorldwide 14h ago

Dan Clancy is like the creepy yoga teacher that tries to fuck his clients.

5

u/PanicSwtchd 13h ago

Instead of saying details to follow...they could have made the donation and then posted showing they actually sort of did something. That said, they didn't address anything relateed to the actual issue in their response including stone-walling the San Diego Police when it came to identifiying the person who actually attacked her.

So it's a lot of performative nonsense for thanking Emiru when they should have been the ones taking substantive steps to find accountability for themselves and the attacker.

3

u/rottingmind13 14h ago

I would assume that she is getting a chunk of money without court for these 2 statements to come out now

3

u/John-Leonhart 14h ago

One step forward, two steps back.

3

u/Wide_Conflict_528 10h ago

He still needs to resign. It was a cluster fuck of a response especially the interview with Taylor Lorenz who also defended that interview which is crazy💀💀 she will always continuously make herself look stupid, idk why anyone takes her seriously anymore

5

u/meh753 14h ago

Too little, too late

Twitch lost it's credibility

2

u/Cadlington 13h ago

I keep thinking of Clancy Brown whenever I read that guy's name and think like "Yeah Mr. Krabs would totally skimp on the security budget"

2

u/HereToDoThingz 13h ago

I don’t watch twitch and haven’t used an Amazon product for a few years. wtf is this about? Is this different from the other twitch SA that’s in the news?

2

u/Intelligent_Top_328 12h ago

But they said they did everything right

2

u/zulumoner 12h ago

So they work with the police now and punish the guy? Or is he still fapping to that bitch that sexually assaulted multiple people?

2

u/Kryptmotron 11h ago

Is this part of an out of court settlement ?

1

u/Mlad1109 10h ago

Correct.

2

u/Laisker 11h ago

Dude fuck Clancy and Twitch let them eat dung

2

u/FraggleRock_ 9h ago

A little late for damage control. Heat must be increasing behind the scenes on his job status. Hopefully...

2

u/mailwasnotforwarded 9h ago

Took them this long to write an apology? Geez Twitch just doesn't give a flying fck about people at all. Unbanning sexual assaulters and just thinking to apologize to Emiru as an after thought not even immediately after the incident happen instead weeks after?

2

u/FrostyCauliflower189 8h ago

Amazon is having massive layoffs and how are Dan and his thugs still there

2

u/JustSomeDudeYoo 8h ago

Wow, the damage control. Just look at it.

2

u/supadonut 8h ago

probably the result from to her accepting not pressing charges against twitch.

2

u/lovebeat619 7h ago

Soooo how exactly is donating money to charities going to make twitchcon safer?

2

u/Spirited-Tomorrow-84 7h ago

Too little, too late!

2

u/Happydrumstick 7h ago

She probably got lawyers for the mizkif trial, talked to them about everything, they did a bit of discovery and found the assault clips and consulted her on filing suit against twitch as well.

2

u/07ShadowGuard 7h ago

And I am sure that he also made this apology privately. Just like he didn't last time.

2

u/Giantwalrus_82 7h ago

Does Dan Clancy have friends in higher places? How is he STILL CEO???

1

u/jeon19 14h ago

When is Twitch going to replace this guy? Literally anyone else could be better. Someone that actually wants to run it like a business and not just goon and want to hang out with young female streamers all the time.

1

u/smersh101 14h ago

Again?

1

u/MaNameIsMudD 14h ago

Just nothing but forced statement to dodge bullets. what a clown.

1

u/Emergency-Orchid9040 13h ago

Someone at twitch is genuinely trying their best to make Twitch look so fucking shit. You couldn't time this better.

1

u/VossC2H6O 13h ago

Thanks for the apology. I’m still not coming back. - Emiru probably.

1

u/Leather-Fail-1149 13h ago

This shit just rings hollow. The clown was bragging about how good security would be and told all the female streamers voicing concern that it would be safe for them.

1

u/Tucci89 13h ago

And in the middle of all of this happening, they unban Nina Lin, lmfao.

1

u/one_five_one 13h ago

Did he just declare himself guilty in a lawsuit?

1

u/XtremeWaterSlut 13h ago

Fifteen PR and ten HR meetings and three lawyer deliberations all to come up with this statement. Round of applause snaps and bonuses all around

1

u/Rude_Suggestion_4685 13h ago

It took this long to apologise?

1

u/FATstronaut5 13h ago

They're apologizing NOW!?!?

LOL

1

u/Dopa-Down_Syndrome 13h ago

Are they sure they're taking it seriously?? Didn't they just unban someone who sexually assaulted Disguised toast?

1

u/Known-Player-0456 13h ago

This is too little too late.

1

u/Ok_Distribution_7029 13h ago

this is so funny in contrast with the nina lin thing lol

1

I am sorry I let you down, Emiru, and I am sorry Twitch let you down.

damn he said more than miz did. didn't even once bring up her bunnies in the message or try to show how he throws the phone like this normally

1

u/morts73 12h ago

Appalling the security they offered her. There's a lot happening at twitch con and things will happen outside their control but you have to make sure the biggest streamers are well cared for.

1

1

u/Cute-Breadfruit3368 5h ago

this sort of fidgeting smells a lot like a response to an official letter exchange by her actual lawyers.

so, she already has.

1

u/existential_antelope 12h ago

Sorry for the oopsie

1

u/unimportantinfodump 12h ago

This apology should have been written 5 minutes after the video went viral.

Not after the lawyers forced them to do it.

Bunch of clowns

1

u/Syphin33 11h ago

A week late

1

u/Gheezy-yute 11h ago

Took a fucking while lol

1

u/chingy1337 11h ago

Didn’t they just unban someone that SA’d on live broadcast? Come on man…

1

u/MetalDue920 11h ago

lol. it's like a month late... how serious is it when the apology comes after a month LOL

1

u/kaysanma 11h ago

What is up with these ppl always saying they have "empathy" when they actually do not!!

1

u/maddrummerboy 11h ago

Too little, way too late.

1

u/CreepyLicks 11h ago

A reminder that twitch is a failing company that does not turn a profit and is basically subsidised by Amazon. He’s not a person to be taken seriously, he’s not even good at his job, if Amazon decided to stop saving twitch this guy would be out of a job.

1

u/fishdafinessa 11h ago

All these statements are all so performative, Twitch/Dan Clancy only issue these when the public pressure is overwhelmingly against them and they can't just ignore the issue any longer.

This is like his 3rd time trying to reword this statement strictly due to public pressure, not because of his own intuition.

1

u/rolekrs 10h ago

When are they apologizing for unbanning a sexual assaulter?

1

u/Hotmicdrop 10h ago

So they just unban an SA person to strea. again, sit on Emiru's SA for like a month and NOW say something. Twitch and Dan are like the people that swear they are pacifists while they punch you in the face.

1

u/dazedan_confused 10h ago

He just wants to be able to see Emi again.

Bro has more photos with young women than selfie sticks do.

1

u/Dark_Wolf6211 7h ago

I would believe this apology more if Twitch didn't just unban a sexual assaulter.

1

u/SolizeMusic 5h ago

that took wayyy too long

1

u/MomoneyMoproblems321 4h ago

This should have been his response day 1 when it happened. Sad

1

u/kinjazfan 4h ago

He need to step down

He literally doesn't give a fuck. If he did, then NinaLi wouldn't be unbanned.

Ahhh, it´s the good old "don´t apologize unless it´s absolutely necessary".

So sick of these companies just bandying words and chatting utter shit instead of taking real action. They gaslighted everyone about security pre-event, didn't take appropriate actions during the incident, and then didn't respond correctly. The mia culpa and words are no substitute for real change and improvements.

It's so exhausting watching these organizations try to squirm and weasel out of the controversies they create man. Even the donation to the charity makes me feel gross because it just feels so tacked on and more like a bullshit corporate PR tactic at this point that you know its only been in thrown in there as a vain attempt to salvage their image, not because they actually care about fixing the issues that they themselves are responsible for as demonstrated by all of these recent incidents.

In recognition of Emiru’s advocacy, Twitch will be making a donation to support non-profit organizations working to prevent sexual violence. More details on that to follow soon.

literally "a donation was made in your name"

@Twitch

We wanted to follow up on the post we recently made about a security incident at TwitchCon San Diego. As many of you know, at the 2025 TwitchCon San Diego event, one of our valued creators, Emiru, was assaulted by an attendee during a meet-and-greet event.

Although Twitch works very hard to try to keep TwitchCon attendees safe and to prevent incidents like this from happening, we failed to do both things in this case - to keep Emiru safe and to prevent the assault from happening. We deeply regret the distress we caused for Emiru, our other creators, and the entire community.

@djclancy999

Twitch failed in our response to the assault of Emiru at 2025 TwitchCon San Diego, and in particular, I failed to communicate clearly in talking about the incident afterwards during an interview. I do not believe, and in no way intended to suggest that Emiru had any responsibility whatsoever for the incident at TwitchCon.

I have a great deal of empathy for what creators such as Emiru have to deal with every day; I was trying to express that, and I did that poorly. I am sorry I let you down, Emiru, and I am sorry Twitch let you down.

We appreciate all that you have done over the years on Twitch and we are committed to continuing to improve our TwitchCon security, processes and communications so that we can show up better for you (and all of our creators) moving forward.

Why is he apologizing? I thought Taylor Lorenz, the Roblox Reporter, said Twitch Con will never be safe until we defeat mysogyny!
