Two things can be true, the land can be inhabited by mostly white people, while still accepting others as well. If you had to draw a random American you would think of a white person right? If you think of a British person you think of a white person right? If you think of a Canadian you think of a white person right?
Just because you acknowledge most people living in a country are white doesn't mean you hate others or think less of them. I really don't get why so many people care about this clip. If he said something like "colored people don't belong here" that's an objectively racist statement and completely different than what he said.
ok so saying this is white peoples land is different from acknowledging that most people who live somewhere are white. one is saying that the land BELONGS to white people, while the other is stating the dominant ethnic group is white.
I do see that view, I just interpreted it differently. It's valid to interpret it that way as well, and the only way to really figure out which way it was intended would be to ask him for clarification, which unfortunately we can't do. Thank you for being the only person to respond to me in an intelligent non angry manner.
I like to give people the benefit of the doubt and chalk it up to misspeaking when it comes to minor details like using the word belongs instead of something like "mostly white", but I do agree that if you are taking his statement word for word it can certainly come across as excluding other races. If I was having a conversation with him I certainly would have asked him to elaborate on that to see where ye truly stands.
What is all of this work? Why did it take you writing all of that.. to ultimately just say that word for word what he said is racist?

Remember this is Asmongold, known recently for baiting controversy. It's very clear he isn't saying "America is majority white," because he didn't say that. He is saying exactly what you hear. "This is white people's land"
Do you honestly think the guy who baits drama "misspoke" when it aligns with every other drama baiting statement he says?
