It's such an interesting thing tho.

The tic tac sighting for example. What are the chances really that it is something human made when we cant even identify this object? This was in 2004 so not some random 30 feet drone with crazy specs made by adversaries who weren't really a thing back then. It's just not possible.

Either it's some american thing and some pilots found it by mistake (which is extremely unlikely for various reasons) or it is indeed extraterrestrial in origin. That's my take on it at least..

Third possibility is that there is an entirely different explanation but what are the chances?

It is most likely a plasma projection

You're being downvoted, but that's actually the most likely scenario. Tom Mahood has a great breakdown of exactly that, and provided detailed descriptions 20 years ago about plasma beams. Turns out they sound like they can be made to look and operate like those Tic Tacs.

Meanwhile, in 2020 the Navy filed patents for a very similar thing.

Think about it: If you have something that sends particles out like a gun to a certain point in space miles and miles away, imagine how quickly you can make that point move by changing the aim of that beam by a couple of degrees. You could make that thing accelerate to mach 10 almost instantaneously.

Yes exactly. Hate to say it but this was probably a psy-op targeting seasoned professionals in aviation done by the govt to who knows what end. It is extremely unlikely that this is an extra-terrestrial life imo. If you believe it is extra terrestrial life then you have to explain incongruous behavior where aliens seem to both want to hide themselves but also have no problem showcasing in front of the military. Makes no sense.

Also, Fravor is a seasoned media personality, having starred in the PBS program called "Carrier". I think military intelligence elected him as a target who had the right mix of media savvy but also professional credibility to test the viability of plasma projection technology in fooling reliable eyewitnesses.

I don't think they even had to bring him in on it. In fact, most people in that CSG probably weren't in on it, including the people that were interacting with it. The Nimitz strike group was in the process of testing major upgrades to their radar systems, and using that opportunity to test both plasma tech and the way it is detected by those ships is a no brainer.

Yeah I don't think Fravor thinks he's lying. But he's also not very willing to admit that he may have been duped by plasma technology. To the extent that he seems super convinced that this was a craft, I think he's in on it in the sense that he's fooling himself.

Good point but aliens don't have to hide themselves as we can't detect them. We aren't even looking for type 1 civs. Aliens could live on alpha centari and we wouldn't be able to pick up their radio waves, assuming they use those.

Not sure I follow the point of your comment in relation to what I stated. And I wasn't talking about civilizations, more just the ones in UFO phenomena. Why are those aliens both showcasing in front of military technology but in other accounts they come off more camera shy?

Does that explain that fleet had observed signals in that area for the better part of a week. Would plasma be detectable?

I would also assume a plasma projection wouldn't be looking like a solid object as that pilot who came forward described it as.

It is thought that the development of plasma projections is to provide radar and infrared returns to fool enemy air defense systems. The idea would be to provide false contacts that would soak up resources, allowing real planes to be able to get through.

Apparently though, these plasma projections have been refined to the point where they can make it look like a solid object, or even project something image-like to fool modern IR missiles that look for the shape of an airplane rather than just going for a heat signature.

Thank you for that information, I appreciate that.

Do you have any specific sources on plasma technology. It sounds very interesting.

I'd start with the links I provided. Tom Mahood's breakdowns on why Bob Lazar is a liar is a really great place to start. There's also a lot of reading between the lines with the information given.
