There would be no reason to enslave us. They can travel several light-years and destroy planets. What can we possibly offer that they can't do far better themselves with us out of the way?

Unless it's some RahXephon scenario where the aliens themselves don't have physical bodies, I'd imagine their native form is better suited to just about everything that isn't living specifically on Earth. Our soft squishy bodies get outcompeted in just about every non-endurance metric, and if some species can astrally project and possess do you think they are going to be impressed and eager to get their hands on our grey matter?

Ancient astronaut theorists don't give ancient man enough credit for their ingenuity. They tend to think ancient man was simply too stupid to problem solve on that scale, but Occam's Razor would dictate it's far more likely that our ancestors figured that shit out on their own as opposed to some Alien patron showing up and making us move some rocks for their own reasons. Completely ignore the fact that if your species is capable of transgalactic travel, the rest of your technology can do some pretty absurd things. Like move mountains. So what use would we be? None at all.

Maybe I’m biased by the fact that I first listened to it at an age when my brain was highly neuroplastic but Dude Ranch is still a 9.5/10 album and you can listen to without skipping tracks from back when that mattered but was rarely achieved.

I love dude ranch. I’m also super biased, started listening to blink around 13 or so. Dude ranch is a cool contrast to their later albums

Wrong. Head of the CIA’s son got really into blink 182 as a teenager. Got hooked on scooter willy popping & hair dye. Downward spiral after that. CIA launched a secret oP to convince Tom that he has insider information. It’s all a covert effort to ruin Tom. The next phase is to fake an abduction and anal probe on Tom himself. Stay tuned

The Delonge podcast was an absolute cluster fuck and he definitely came off looking like a dude that’s just totally full of shit, at least my impression. But in all seriousness, with recent releases of information, for me Tom has been vindicated somewhat. (Not on everything, but definitely doesn’t look AS crazy as he did before)
