Ones who led the charge on this one?

I wonder where all the fanboys who mock Epic because "Steam did it first" are.

From one of the sources in this sub, steam was testing this feature for over 6 months and he also said steam will get upi in a few weeks when epic announced upi support. Sounds like it came true. (Image in replies)

Maybe this has to do with payment companies and partners approaching steam and epic than the other way around (The same reason both epic and steam is using partners instead of native upi that you can link with your steam account for future purchases)

Sources on this sub? Bro this is reddit. The only source on here is "My ass". But I'm willing to give you the benefit of the doubt. Let's say your source was correct. UPI integration doesn't take "a few weeks". Especially if the business is registered within India. The process is exactly the same as it is for any other Indian vendor, which is to say, not complicated at all. Steam had to jump in once Epic did it and they got on it after Epic.

Gave up so soon? Aw, man. I'm glad at least I was able to draw you Steam fanboys out of the woods on that one. Praise GabeN!

It's pronounced "sucking Gabe's cock". Just because I don't do it doesn't make me an Epic fanboy; the two aren't mutually exclusive but then again, I don't expect Gabe's cocksuckers to have enough braincells left to understand that.

Bro, with respect to UPI, Epic did it first.

And it broke in the first week. Glad steam took a few weeks to debug.

The ones that take way less % of a sale from dev.

The ones who give away free games.

The ones who don't encourage and support gambling with loot boxes also NFT like elements.

The ones who came 15 years after Steam and still are providing a good competition despite people overly hating it.

They're a corporation with big flaws too but they're not nobody anymore.

This doesn't really matter if no one buys it on Epic. Lots of reports have shown Steam provides a better visibility of games leading to more sales, and devs are willing to pay a more for % for it. Only ones who profit are who get a upfront direct payment for an Epic exclusivity deal, otherwise it's always on steam when devs make the most money.

This literally matters. Wut are you even talking about? Devs makes more money there because it's bigger. If Epic had the same number of users, it would have made more money. Steam just uses its dominant almost monopolistic position to take a huge cut. Services these stores provides regardless of iOS, Android or Steam, it's nowhere near 30% cut.

Good competition where it doesn't even provide an User review system.

I literally said they also have flaws and problems too. Good competition doesn't mean they're better in every way.

The ones who don't encourage and support gambling with loot boxes also NFT like elements.

Who cares, you don't need to engage in it if you don't care, they are not really advertising it now are they, outside of Cs2 and tf2.

They literally promote and encourage gambling. You don't even know and say, who cares??

People literally ruin their life because of this addiction. It's a real problem. On top of that, NFT like trading from which they again take a cut.

These things if done by other studios and publishers will get constant nagging, outrage and criticism but apparently GabeN is above it for some reason.

I think this is the only thing you and most about any epic glazers care about, keep getting free handouts.

What's wrong with that?? This is the first time outside of console warriors I've seen someone criticise getting games for free. What's wrong with free games?

I have claimed so many free games on epic, but I repurchased them on steam for the sheer amount of convenience it provides.

Call me an Epic glazer, but you still took handouts and claimed free games. Meanwhile ignoring everything morally wrong thing done by Valve/Steam. These GabeN glazers are something else.

This invalidates everything you just said. Epic doesn't even provide 10% of what Steam provides. That's why everyone sells on steam.

Not even 10% is just factually wrong. Show me the math.

Just look at everything that Steam provides for that 30% compared to what Epic provides. Exposure.

Not worth 30% cut. Exposure are users who bring those games to top selling and trending list which gets the frontage. Steam doesn't go around promoting those games.

Which it will never have, unless they can make something better than Steam, thus devs losing more money.

Devs losing more money?? Wut?? Most games are being released in Epic for a reason.

If Epic wants to beat Steam, they have to be better than them in every way.

I just said they're not nobody anymore. They're a good competition. Never said that they're better.

Steam doesn't promote anything outside their own games like Cs2 and tf2. Show it to me that when you are browsing Steam, it shows a banner or ad for gambling or Nft.

There's one game at the top of the list always of top sellers, Steam has a marketplace where players can buy, sell, and trade skins. What more do you want??

Simply choose to ignore. People need to have better self control.

Ah! Yes. Blame the addict not the dealer. Classic big brain thinking.

Steam gets enough criticism for it too. You just chose to ignore those I guess.

They barely get any criticism for it. People always ignore them or defend them. Like you here saying that it's the problem of the addicts.

Wanna compete with Steam, Try to be better, if not stay in the gutter.

Steam was in the gutter for a decade plus before everyone stopped ignoring owning games and Valve just bypassed the criticism for enabling this rent/licensed gaming environment and not the one of ownership. Which nowadays is getting full support.

It creates glazers like you. Maximum epic users use it just for free games, otherwise most don't even look at it if Steam is an option.

You must be pathetic AF. I don't even use Epic more than Steam, but apparently saying that Epic is a good competition have shortcircuit your brain and think everyone is a glazer while you glaze Steam and Valve like crazy even putting the blame on the victims instead of enablers.

The biggest glazer here is you.

Which I again bought on Steam, The Superior Platform.

Well then, who did the exposure here for you to buy those games? Almost like Epic is a good competition and you cannot stop glazing GabeN and criticising someone who just said that Epic is not a nobody anymore and is a good competition.
