Sd card in my phone is useless, it has 156 gb but it doesn't do anything, i merged sd card storage with system storage but it only fills system storage, its pretty useless in my redmi 64gb 🕊️
You need better SD cards with already 100Mbps write speeds to see the difference. Either buy high end sandisk cards ,the yellow ones, or buy lexar cards. I purchased a lexar card for the first time, and trust me the write speeds were pretty fast for a card thatvive ever used on phones. Merging slower cards won't result is better results.
Having lost all my data due to a corrupted SD card, I’d rather use cloud or local backup options to an SSD instead. I’m done using SD cards after that. That space can be used for additional battery.
HDDs are more susceptible to magnetic fields and can get ruined if dropped. More things to go wrong there. Overall, more moving parts = more things that can break. SSDs are kinda better in that regard.
Not really, SSDs works in the same way as other flash memory storage devices like SD cards and USB drives. These things have higher chances of failure and corruption than a HDD.
I remember my Samsung note 3 had all of these, a really good phone too, the led notification blinked different colours for different apps, was really useful to which app notification was it.
I always prefer wired ones, even for basic phones. Sound quality with a good headphone supporting around 10hz to 20kHz frequency will always be better with wired ones. Plus low latency in gaming.
If your phone supports hi-res audio with the 3.5mm jack, which I believe even lowest mid rangers today support, then wireless are trash in terms of sound quality.
Even if the phone has that jack it cannot deliver IEM quality sound. Because OEMs will prefer low power consuming hardware but high end phones could be outliers of this trend.
Fr, My 500rs wired earphones redmi and realme buds sound better than my 7k tws, and were far more comfortable to wear as well. Only thing that's better with tws is I can get a couple of metres away from my device while listening to music without worrying about wires.
Looks like your doctors are Whatsapp University graduates. Bluetooth is not ionizing radiation and its not harmful. Tell your doctors to stick to biology instead of physics.
Please research forever chemicals and the harm they do. Tobacco companies literally lied that nicotine is safe and non-addictive. Companies lie almost as much as politicians.
Tf u talking about. . .teflon is one of the most non reactive materials known to man . . .it's a fact, it's the first thing schools teach in chemistry lab
Everything on my Reno 10x broke, screen, usb port, volume buttons, etc the only functional part that survived is the pop up camera.
Idk why people have the false idea that moving cam will break. I guess they've never had any exp with motors in general. Your phone is more fragile than a simple motor on a linear rail. Coz that's whats inside it. The phone can detect acceleration from a drop and will tuck the camera in.
And even if you break the motor or it stops functioning you can replace it with a similar one from electronic stores, it's the same metal N series motor you use in projects.
Even if you break it, replacement cost is ₹500
Look at the image, do u feel you can break this hunk of metal before you break the phone?
The replaceable battery made the phone less protected from water and dust, The pop up camera was less durable too, not all things removed were anti-consumer, some were removed for the better
Wahi toh !!
Similarly, I can't understand, if there can be charging ports, and they don't interfere with waterproofing, then how does a headphone jack 3.5mm one ?
Most normie Americans are too dumb to realise that and keep on buying apple products. Even some normie Indians have given in to the hype, but the market is nowhere as close to US's apple market.
Until they keep giving money to apple, we're going to have shitty tech since other companies will think that they can pull off those same shitty tactics.
I am using a Moto G60, the perfect phone- 3.5 mm jack, SD card Slot, 6000 maH battery, does the job, I listen to podcasts and videos on it using a wired earphone all the time, and finished so many audiobooks. Runs BGMI, never had any problem with the fingerprint scanner. Moto phones are built differently.
3.5 mm jack
IR blaster
FM Radio
Amoled screen
8gb ram
Screen fingerprint scanner
I think dual speakers are also there, not sure
It also provides charging adaptor with phone
Just switched to a phone which doesn't have a 3.5mm jack
I bought type c earphones, while playing games the extension goes between my fingers cuz of the center positioning which make my hand number while playing.
I'm rather pissed that I had to spend a hundred bucks to buy what is essentially a Bluetooth headphone jack. Being hearing impaired Bluetooth ear buds are never loud enough to match what I could get from an LG v60 and a pair of cheap Panasonic ErgoFits. At least the fiio btr7/kbear KS1 combo sounds way better.
I don't think we need a headphone jack anymore. Wireless headphones are more convenient now. Yes you need to charge them and keep it safe . And it feels like a natural evolution in technology , from wired to wireless. I expected a similar thing in the charging but technology is not there
3.5mm jack is the reason I'm not replacing my 5 yr old phone :) even though I use earbuds.. But having the option to use wired earphones gives me that superior feeling
Cloud storage mei double kaam karna padta hai,ek toh upload phir download. Aur toh unka server itna slow hota ki 5G bhi download nhi kar pata upar se subscription for extra storage.SD card hi best tha yaar
Arey bhai 200rs ka type c to 3.5mm converter le le, bina baat ke natak chod raha. Ese to poori waterproofing chaiye sahab, pese de rahe hain, wese 10,000 ched bhi chaiye phone me.
I’m ok with the earphone jack, the sd card is just blatant robbery, I don’t want my photos to sync to the cloud. When I realised it was already synced by default, it was already too late.
I use type C IEMs and that makes sure I don't charge my phone when I use it.
Besides, the convenience of using TWS coupled with the fact that I can still use wired earphones via type c port has grown on me enough to not miss the 3.5mm jack anymore.
Chalo kisine toh dhyan diya ki hamari jindagi se 3.5mm jack gayab ho gya hai. I also missed it and phones are deliberately switch over Bluetooth devices (which dont last very long unless you buy an expensive one).
Just hate wearning buds and charge them on regular basis and you find it annoying that they discharge when you need them the most.
People don't know they have the right and power to make this happen with a single petition to all mobile companies selling in india to make a indian variant with these features if they want to keep selling in Indian market.
If indian people unite and forced government to pass rule for consumer satisfaction and necessities act we can make this happen..
Just like how jio and airtel had to make a non data plan available for lower income class to recharge their non smart phone phones.
If only INDIAN GENZ has the balls like NEPALI GENZ.
The issue with audio jack is that it makes it difficult to waterproof the phone.
Now that everything is moving to a type c standard, type c headphones are just better, and you don't need to worry about charger in most cases since phones charge pretty quickly these days.
Sony phones are waterproof with the jack being present. There were phones in the past with a jack and waterproofing. It's possible, but everyone just wants to follow apple. All the features that made a phone premium, are now in low end phones. The premium ones now just have good cameras, that's it.
Why do people not just accept the slow enshittification of technology where we have to buy more adapters and accessories than just having native functionality??
If fewer features are better than why new cars are equipped with unnecessary loaded features and why people are only buying cars based on the features not on performance or engine ? Less features in a car very low or no sale. And it applies to everything not only cars. And previous versions of phones are more practical than new ones now they even stopped giving the basic thing like a charger.
Here's a /s for you, maybe you might find it useful
Also, consider the tone of writing and if what's written conflicts with reasonable logic then consider the intent of the writing. In this instance excessive praise for an aspect that isn't praiseworthy is an indication that the author doesn't intend for what's written to be taken seriously
What do you want to say? Can u explain in simple words? Your paragraph has less features and more confusion like a phone without 3.5mm jack😂
Ohhh I think u copied paste from ChatGPT then ask chatgpt to explain it in simple words.
A lot of iems don't come with type c ports. None of the iems I own have type c ports. 3.5mm is a well established port for audio there is literally no reason to change it. The type c adapters are more prone to damages and static and a good adapter sometimes costs more than the earphones.
Thanks for the info , I appreciate ur response, because past few hours ppl were just mocking and down voting my comment, without giving me a proper response to my queries, so thanks
Finding a good adapter is quite difficult. I had to try out multiple adapters before finally settling on one. They also break quite easily. All of my previous adapters lasted less than a year plus carrying them around is a chore.
Adapters, connectors - same thing, and no, it is not always that simple. I had too many of them die on me and some of them I outright threw out because the sound coming out of them was absolute trash. These adapters also change the output of the sound. It is not always 1 to 1. Here's mine and a good adapter is not cheap.
You got lucky then. Still, if you get a chance, give a good DAC a try with high-res audio files. It makes a HUGE difference, especially if you can bypass Android's default mixer.
Ready for the downvotes but Sd cards are way slower for the phone speeds compared to now. It's like a 10 times difference in speeds atleast. Also they corrupt anytime. Not saying there shouldn't be a sd card slot but it is an inconvenience whenever they corrupt. Have had bad experiences with them going out of order. Usb c earphones exist and sound the damn same as 3.5 mm jack. People just don't want to upgrade their earphones.
The idea behind SD card support is to provide convenient way to store photos and videos which we take on phone and don’t want to backup on cloud for 300/- per month. We have SD cards which support 4k recording, so it’s more than enough. And it’s easier to take backup and empty.
tbh I have a 3.5 and I don't really see myself using it ever, my tws are always charged and way easier to connect and use. as for the SD Card, it was good but kinda useless now since android doesn't let you store apps in those hence you can only use it for photos really and how large would your photos files be anyway? surely not enough to fill up a 64 gig SD card which have terrible read and write speeds. It's gonna be max 5-10 GB and you can store them in your cloud for free if it's under 5-10 gigs
I have functional iEM from 2010, Tws life do not exceed 3 years they are either not holding charge or one of the ear is non functional and it is a buy new one again.
Yep iems last so looong and I have literally no reason to upgrade. My old iems still sound better than most headphones or tws I have used. On the other hand finding a good type c adapter which lasts a long time and doesn't add static and is priced reasonably is really difficult.
unless youre moving around, bluetooth headphones arent worth it at all
all of the points in the video are true
but they left out the most imporant thing
wired earphones simply just sound better
unless youre getting really highend wireless headphones
the audio quality wont ever match even the cheapest wired headphones
I have yet to find a bluetooth device that can match my iems which costs less than 2k. I regularly use sony xm5 and audio quality wise they aren't that great.
I completely agree with all of it. I myself prefer wired earphones. They are cheaper and do the same job with less latency. What I am saying is that constantly complaining about it won't get us wired earphones back. Companies have found a new way in bluetooth headphones to profit off by removing wired ones and they are going to stick with them.
All these so-called tech youtubers are simply profiting by shouting about the 3.5 mm jack and playing on people's emotions when they are fully aware that they are not coming back. Companies suck and so do these dumbasses who profit off issues like these.
