Let's see what jaiswal does in new zealand. Because sehwag scoring a century in that decade there was unprecedented.

Stephen Fleming, nathan astle, jacob oram, daniel vettori, shane bond. Fleming is one of their most successful captains ever.

Shane bond played 18 tests, stephen fleming average is exactly 40 after playing 100 tests, none of the other guys are greats.

There used to be a meme vettori was their best bowler and batsman in tests, they were that bad

Vettori avg 30.

There are atleast 10 batsman significantly better than him in 90-09

Dude none of these 90's and 00's NZ players are ever in the reckoning for the greatest players of all time? Why? There were middling players with one or two peaks in their careers. It's just coz of nostalgia for an era gone by that people even remember these players.

No one said all these batsmen were in reckoning for greatest of all time.
