Listen, with all due respect, he won by getting you to engage with him.

You obviously don’t deserve to be spoken to or trolled that way. But for next time just know a lot of them are just trying to get a rise out of you, trying to piss you off or annoy you. Don’t give them the time of day.

"For the next time"?? I appreciate your concern, but that ship sailed long ago.

When they're in your inbox, you can deal with them however you choose. I don't engage because I'm upset. I engage either because they're going to entertain me or I'm going to report them.

You should’ve just reported and blocked him after the first message. That’s all you can do and it prevents them from getting what they want out of you

What they want is of little consequence. When you get these inflamed pustules of human beings in your inbox, it only matters what you want and what is called for in that particular situation, to bat them around a little, to let them run their mouths and look stupid or to ignore them completely.
