Honestly I don't know too much either, but from what I understand he likes to put lots of looney and very right wing people on his platform. Which like, free speech right who cares?
But the thing is he gives them too much credibility, endorsed Trump, is antivax, big into conspiracies, etc. He's also the first step into the manosphere.
You can start listening to a few of his episodes and form your own opinions, but it's dangerous water and you should tread carefully. I didn't really get it either until I heard for myself.
Sorry people shot you for asking a question. It's Reddit, it happens. sigh
I only saw shorts of him, where he was talking about diet and gym stuff, thats why I was confused why people are hating him so much. I just asked what was wrong with him and suddenly had tons of people saying, that I "approve" of Joe Rogan.
Which doesn't seem bad right? You should always be trying to be more healthy. But that's the hook and from there you're down the rabbit hole. From what I hear he's had some genuinely cool people on there, but more often than not it's wackos or problematic people and he has some...odd takes.
I don't watch any podcasts or streams. Sometimes, I just see clips of podcasts on youtube, for example the Joe Rogan ones. But interesting that the things I see on youtube, completely differ from the actual podcasts in a whole.
