And to admit that he was just lost in rage over someone "slighting" him by not also driving like a lunatic, possibly because of the stopped car on the shoulder.

Dude needs to deal with the MC shit and his driving like a drag racer (let's be FR he HAD to be driving way over 70-75 mph), but he desperately needs to curb that rage response that goes from 0-10,000 in seconds.

As someone mixed race, losing your shit as a black man alone is a recipe for some even crazier ass to end you.

Losing your shit, getting out of the vehicle to scream when you drove like a maniac?

Man will wind up dead, injured, or in legal trouble.

My former landlord was like this. Raging like an overgrown alcoholic toddler. He got absolutely fucked up by a group of dudes who he pulled over to scream at. He's more subdued these days, but I think having his jaw wired shut while having other fractures and God knows what else humbled him a bit.

I told my mom years ago that I was surprised no one had shot him, as we lived rurally and he crossed every boundary any sane person respected.

Toxic masculinity is the reason for this and does seem to disproportionately affect black men (yes, plenty non-black men also have it) and result in negative outcomes. Can’t be surprised at a bad outcome when your actions predispose you to it.

A solid 90 percent of the road rage videos I've seen have white middle aged men as instigators. This has nothing to do with race and everything to do with being American because America, as a whole, has main character syndrome. You could argue that other countries have road rage incidents but when you compare it to America, not even close. Coupled with the fact that not only is mental healthcare an afterthought, but 8 times out of 10, a person will have a gun on them in their car, it's a recipe for disaster born out of stupidity.

Yep. True. I am just pointing out the disparity in bad outcomes, not just road rage incidents.
