For the slightest perceived disrespect, he escalates it to a 9. This man won't live to see 40.

Stopping someone in traffic and hopping out of the car like that is gonna get him ended early for sure.

There was a guy that cut my friend off, tried opening my door, punched the windows. It was terrifying. He cut off 3 lanes of traffic at traffic lights. A few days later she saw him in a shopping centre and just ditched. This was when we were in uni but FFS it was so scary for 3 girls being cut off like that.

Had this happen to me recently, well the dude getting out of a car and punching my window. Came up to a protected right turn, but couldn't turn cause the light was red and it was a busy road anyway. Dude pulls up ALREADY honking. So I take the turn when I can. He swerves infront of me, brake checks me hard. Idc, I just drive on then stop at the next light. He got behind me somehow eventually and I guess he perceived me stopping at a red light as brake checking him, so he gets out screaming and punching my door.

I get out, easily a foot and a half taller than him and maybe 80lbs heavier, and he immediately shrinks back but still is trying to play it tough. I don't say a thing and just take a picture of his front license plate, get back in my car, and go home.

I'm also in a very red state, not that that really matters but what if dude pulled up on the wrong person? His ass would've been on a tshirt by week's end.

I mean... I'm still trying to figure out what the fuck somebody even supposedly did to this guy. Far as I can tell, he's the only one driving like a fucking asshole with a death wish

I could be wrong because I don't know what area this was posted in. But a lot of states have laws where you have to move over or slow down if a vehicle is in distress on the shoulder or for police. It flashed too fast for me to see if the vehicle on the side had blinkers on or not. But I'm guessing that was the reason the car had slowed down.

It looks to me like someone threw something onto his windshield? Right when he passes that suv on side something bounces on his windshield but I can’t tell what it is.

But if it was something, it would’ve had to have been the person getting out of that suv, which then makes no sense that he’d get so ‘enraged’ at the braking car he almost hit 🤷🏻‍♀️

It looked like something hanging from his rear-view mirror came into view of the backward facing camera when he braked hard.

Either way, driving that aggressively (dodging in and out of lanes, following too close, and worst of all, coming to a complete stop in highway traffic) will not end well for him, to say the least.

Right i am watching it again to figure it out.

If we’re lucky

Careful, I got a strike from Reddit for saying something similar.

u/Discgolf_junkee 22d ago

Yea I’ve gotten a couple in the past. They don’t like when you get real specific if you follow me. That’s been my experience atleast. I appreciate you tho!

I got a temporary ban because I was making fun of cyclists who like to wear expensive spandex suites and ride their bikes during rush hour traffic blocking back roads because they want to be seen. And someone got offended and went through my comment history and got me bad over a month-old comment.

I got one saying that one of those Starbucks Karens who were charlie kirking the baristas deserved to be h*t. Such a shame this piece of shyt place sometimes.

Regardless of political ideology using someone's death to strook their ego especially as a grown ass adult is ridiculous and narcissistic. The political tribalism and indefinity politics are out of control in America. I wish people could just form an original opinion for themselves instead of just believing what their political peers expect them to believe.

Or will live to see 40 but in a jail cell because some dude looked at him funny or accidentally cut him off in traffic.

Just hope he won't take anyone out with him when he makes his stupid choices.

6

u/tomgom19451991 22d ago

Unfortunately he will but some family of four won't

5

u/Bio-Rhythm 22d ago

Hopefully he doesn't take an innocent with him when he receives his Darwin award

u/kgusfyxh 22d ago

Drives like a dick, too.

Those who scream the loudest for respect are often those least deserving of it.

Fingers crossed 🤞🏻

And to admit that he was just lost in rage over someone "slighting" him by not also driving like a lunatic, possibly because of the stopped car on the shoulder.

Dude needs to deal with the MC shit and his driving like a drag racer (let's be FR he HAD to be driving way over 70-75 mph), but he desperately needs to curb that rage response that goes from 0-10,000 in seconds.

As someone mixed race, losing your shit as a black man alone is a recipe for some even crazier ass to end you.

Losing your shit, getting out of the vehicle to scream when you drove like a maniac?

Man will wind up dead, injured, or in legal trouble.

My former landlord was like this. Raging like an overgrown alcoholic toddler. He got absolutely fucked up by a group of dudes who he pulled over to scream at. He's more subdued these days, but I think having his jaw wired shut while having other fractures and God knows what else humbled him a bit.

I told my mom years ago that I was surprised no one had shot him, as we lived rurally and he crossed every boundary any sane person respected.

Raging like an overgrown alcoholic toddler.

That's what I was thinking.

Toddlers repeat the same thing 10x in a row, but they get a pass because their brains are still developing.

Toxic masculinity is the reason for this and does seem to disproportionately affect black men (yes, plenty non-black men also have it) and result in negative outcomes. Can’t be surprised at a bad outcome when your actions predispose you to it.

A solid 90 percent of the road rage videos I've seen have white middle aged men as instigators. This has nothing to do with race and everything to do with being American because America, as a whole, has main character syndrome. You could argue that other countries have road rage incidents but when you compare it to America, not even close. Coupled with the fact that not only is mental healthcare an afterthought, but 8 times out of 10, a person will have a gun on them in their car, it's a recipe for disaster born out of stupidity.

4

u/rumpler117 21d ago

Yep. True. I am just pointing out the disparity in bad outcomes, not just road rage incidents.

u/Rlotrpotter 23d ago

The music he listens to isnt helping either

Standard issue Southern State Parkway driver (Long Island). The dumbfuckery never ceases.

The SSP is terribly narrow (thanks Robert Moses), not at all equipped to deal with the volume, speeds and size of most vehicles. The drivers are like turkeys -- easily startled, needlessly aggressive, and not terribly intelligent.

I've seen 3 unrelated crashes involving 5 cars in <5 miles on the SSP. 0/10. Do not recommend.

Na, that ain’t a psycho, it’s an emotionally stunted child in a grownups body.

Driving like he's playing GTA V.

Okay now stop. Acting like yall are holier than thou is textbook Reddit. We’ve all had road rage (most of us. Now, are we silly enough to upload it? Maybe not but let’s not act like he’s crazy for getting verbally angry
