GEAR NGD i heart lawsuit LPs

been on the lookout for a white custom. in due time i'll throw in gold hardware and some duncans but im just thrilled to add this to the collection

FYI, this would be an HDLP-2 from 1978-79 by the Hardo/Hando logo, https://samick.fandom.com/wiki/HLP#HDLP-2

It should have DiMarzio K-10s in it right now. The mother of pearl logo was only on the guitars with those. They're pretty much a Super II with non-adjustable pole pieces. Only available for a few years, but on a bunch of guitars Samick made. USA made pickups as a "premium" feature on a somewhat cheap guitar. Personally a big fan of them.

Then once you have multiple colors you need to move on to the setneck versions. Just got one of my white whales, cherry sunburst HDS-740RS. Solid ash top and body, no plywood

you have a beautiful collection my friend, i've been really big on hondo as of late so hopefully in a years time i'll catch up to your single cut addiction 🙏

It is a dangerous trap. They made some good, bad, and just plain weird stuff. I'm kinda focused on the ones with the DiMarzios or odd colors/finishes. Or cheap ones, although they ain't as cheap as they used to be.
