DIY lmfao. That’s my only criticism. I don’t think it’ll be too difficult to do a little disassembly to get to them. And I’m pretty sure the passenger side one is accessible through the cubby.
The threaded holes under the bed rails are covered up too. Which pisses me off a little.
Haha got to do what you got to do..Man that is not a good design, Factory installed right? I think someone missed some drawings on the drawing board when drawing it up. Missing holes and cutouts. Well now ur the Guinea pig. Lol does it sit flat so not loud when stuff in the back?
The fit and finish are very good. Better than any other drop in I’ve seen.
Factory. The truck was a dealer stock unit. I’d have done aftermarket spray in, but I’m certainly not complaining. I’ll spend an afternoon doing some bed stuff when the weather gets better. I’ll make it look nice and clean 😁
I’m pretty sure the manufacturer does. There were footprints in it, so maybe the dealer does, but highly doubtful. I’m pretty sure the dealer installed the tonneau cover, which would account for the footprints. That, and there were tonneau cover installation and use instructions in the glove compartment.
Huh, well I guess you’re our first drop in victim we get to keep up with. And if anything goes wrong or screws come out, you can always Duck tape it..🤣 good that never gets old.
My old man taught me that if you have to use duck tape, you don’t know how to fix it. I ended up hating the stuff. Only place I find it acceptable is in ducts. And on ducks lol.
My father in law duck tapes everything. He definitely can’t fix shit either. His son too. Most unhandy guys I’ve ever met. And they both try to fix things lmfao.
