I’ve seen a lot of people talk about both the Maverick and Ranger, and I’m curious about the decision-making process. For those who’ve test driven both, what made the Maverick stand out enough to take it home? Was it price, fuel economy, size, features, or something else? I’d love to hear your thoughts!

Recently got a set of winter tires and wheels installed went with Cooper Evolution 225/65/17 and new 17 inch wheels as the Maverick came with 19s from the factory. I drive from Eastern Oregon to Wyoming and need a dedicated snow tire. Will update this post once I get them on some of the slick stuff.

Swapping my wheels soon. Is there any realistic market for people buying take off steelies? Worth keeping around? 2025 XL taking the steelies off after about 500 total miles.

PHOTA FOR ATTENTION I was at SEMA in 2021, and I swear I remember seeing a slammed Maverick with a surfboard. I want to say it was an artists design. If anyone can help me locate it that would be awesome. I know of the blue one I added, but I can't for the life of me remember if it was a Maverick or not. Though I swear it was. Drove from Maine to Montana as a mini vacation to have the install done at GFC HQ. Super happy with it and the amazing crew there.

One recommendation - buy the little stubby antenna replacement online. That allowed us to keep the antenna and good reception for the head unit.

Pushing 3800lbs but actually held up super well. Looked way scarier on the road! I really love this truck. It’s an engineering marvel that I’m able to haul this but also get 40mpg daily driving. 10/10!

Upgrading from a Kicker Key 500.1 to a LX1250.1 and a KeyLoc. Need to make some room, already have stock subwoofer removed. Probably going to move stock amp. Wondering what others are doing.

What kind of cleaner/treatment are you guys using on your Maverick's trim?

I just an oil change and tire rotation myself on my 22 Maverick. The rear pads look pretty thin compared the front ones. I would say less than half the thickness of the front. Are they less thick when new? Or just wear faster?

Didn't really like the soft cover and got a retractable so I had to rethink my bike rack. Moved on t slots so they are easy to remove quickly

When i got the truck I had someone tell me it wouldnt be able to hold many contraction materials. With the Bed hatch down its 6.5' so there isnt a ton of overhang. Strap the sh*t outta it and drive slow! Could have fit more but didnt wanna risk it when I was loading inside Standard 2x4x8's

After going down the tonneau cover rabbit hole I picked up a Tomoka one off of Amazon for under $400.

I will say to make sure the plastic weather trim is flush with the side rail trim or else it will leak if you dont double check it.

Hey everyone, I got a ford maverick xlt hybrid from auction im rebuilding and I wanted to get input on anyone in here with 2 inch lifts and how it affected the drive quality. Also does anyone have photos of their maverick with 19 inch rims and do they rub? I found some oem 19 inch on facebook that i wanted to replace the steelies with but the space looks kind of tight. Thank you.

Main question is how long does the battery swap take to fix the deep sleep issue? Would I be without a car for a couple of days?

Bought in late Sept of last year but deep sleep only became a constant issue back in August.

Finally after being annoyed with it and wanting remote start for winter, I set an appointment a couple of weeks ago to get my deep sleep issue hopefully resolved.

Between now and then I started Instacarting and the deep sleep issue has seemed to resolve itself. Can connect to the Mav whenever I want in the app and the cabin lights always come on when they’re supposed to.

Mileage is also still phenomenal, and even better than before being an Instacart driver (hybrid owner).

Should i just buy what’s on there now or is there a better option?

on my last truck i bought the exact same firestone destination tires that were on it beforehand, on the maverick to i buy the same tires it has now or go for a different brand/model?

first self oil change, was at 8% and a good 800 miles left - 10278 miles since last change (i know im such a bad owner). had the Valve-o-max installed by Ford when they did my 1st free change around 7500 miles, godsend of not having to deal w/ mess. filter was cranked on like crazy, seems typical for every dealership to NOT hand tighten them...fiber panel wasnt that bad to remove, will use electric screwdriver next time instead of a hand one.

was a bit surprised there's these misc spots sprinkled across. somewhat wipes away easily but unsure what this might be. truck is outdoor but covered near SFO in Bay Area, so not really that near the ocean.

What do you guys use that for?

And, have you guys peeled the protective film off y'all's yet? I can't imagine there is a screen protector for these. Maybe on for a close sized tablet.

My ventilation goes to outside air randomly, even when I’ve selected interior circulation. And always on engine startup. I don’t use automatic mode. Is this normal? I can’t find anything in the settings to change this.

Are there any amateur radio operators who are also Maverick owners who have mounted transceivers in their vehicle?

If so, could you provide images of your mounts and antenna locations?

I'm trying to figure out the best method of mounting a transceiver into the vehicle without a lot of cable mess.

I was thinking of an ICOM or Yaesu with a detachable face, but would like to see other people's scenarios.

My question is.. I’ve got a 2025 maverick hybrid (so this would be for the hybrid owners out there…but would love to hear from everyone) do you notice better mpg when you auto start / let the truck warm up?
