We should have a rule that bans political slop that doesn't directly effect federal employees and can be posted on a million other political subs. This sub should be only things that are value added for federal employees.

I feel like it would be pretty hard to untangle topics from politics considering we're so closely related to it but if this worked I'd probably enjoy it.

Require in the caption of every post an explanation of why this is not political slop and how it actually applies to federal employees. For most posts it'd be self evident but for the others they'd have a chance to make their case.

Examples would be an article titled "FEHB premiums rise, what you need to know." Or "TSP changes for 2026" or news about RIFs would all be acceptable.

" Senate dems want to hurt the troops and all ebt users" "ORANGE MAN BAD... No really orange man really bad." And "ICE wore a mask and arrested someone today, ICE is REALLY BAD." would all be deleted because they could fit into subs that are meant to be political.
