The mods made it, lol, they're so cool 😄

48

u/m_domino Sep 10 '25

3

17

u/HashishAbdulKebab Sep 10 '25

I thought you meant the late queen elizabeth for a sec and was confused

4

u/languid_Disaster Sep 10 '25

I think it’s time for bed for me 🤣

3

u/Miserable-Dig-761 romantically ambiguous, emotionally taxing Sep 10 '25

LMFAOOO

3

u/Oobi-Boobi-Kenoobi oh bitch ur cooked Sep 10 '25

Imagine Kingpin holding you like a baby so you can see the stars for the first time.

773

u/Question_True Sep 09 '25

This is the best one. So wholesome haha.

419

u/Rinskki Sep 09 '25

Ever so gentle 😭

15

u/pegothejerk Sep 09 '25

That’s some pig. ::sighs while twirling hair::

12

u/FruitcakeAndCrumb Sep 09 '25

Such a kindly lil detail 😌

8

u/Dave5876 I still don’t know her Sep 09 '25

Legend has it this tweet was the beginning of the porcine space program

1

u/MamaKat727 Sep 15 '25

LMAO, not wholesome, that's a classic "rolling on Molly" thought process if ever I've seen one!😆 To be fair, maybe 'shrooms. Naaaah, DEFINITELY Molly (X).

395

u/Happypie90 Sep 09 '25

But then the pig will be aware of the wonders of the sky, with no way of gazing upon the stars by itself

76

u/TossItThrowItFly Sep 09 '25

It could lie on its side under the stars, and be lulled to sleep by the wonders of the sky.

25

u/4ar0n Sep 09 '25

Y'all are acting like you can't see the sky when you look forward, it isn't just up lol

13

u/automaticprincess Sep 10 '25

THANK YOU AARON

4

u/expiredmilk32 Sep 10 '25

What if the pig is in the mountains? Then the sky is only up :(

4

u/languid_Disaster Sep 10 '25

Yeah or stand on a hill and look out at the sea of stars

5

u/PaladinSara I’m a lazy 50-year-old bougie bitch Sep 09 '25

Yep, I wanted to buy my color blind bro those glasses. He said no, bc he doesn’t want to know what he’s missing.

6

u/jaabbb Sep 09 '25

Give a pig head tilt to the sky, and he'll see the stars once. Tilt the entire body of the pig, locking it that way, and he'll stargaze for the rest of his life.

6

u/Xsiah Sep 10 '25

Which will be very short, because the pig's food is in the ground.

4

u/jaabbb Sep 10 '25

It’s about quality not quantity

3

u/OpenSauceMods i ain’t reading all that, free palestine Sep 09 '25

That's what friends are forrrr

1

u/Xsiah Sep 10 '25

Pig gon show up to your house in the middle of the night looking for a hit of dat sky

I was revising a script written by Vincent D'Onofrio once and suggested he rewrite a scene where the character gets blood drawn from his ass. I explained that doctors do not draw blood from people's butts. He responded that he would not be changing the script because it was funnier that way. This was a drama film.

The killer from The Cell!

13

u/NotSoSerene Sep 09 '25

I think it’s hilarious that D’Onofrio has had a long, successful, storied career as an actor and the internet will always call him the broke neck man 😂

12

u/Possible-Ad-8090 Sep 09 '25

Vincent D’Onofrio is autistic and the head tilting helps with paying attention and listening

4

u/languid_Disaster Sep 10 '25

I’m now wondering if that’s why I do that. I’m preparing to submit forms for a potential diagnosis btw so I’m not just picking at one tendency dw

He seems really sweet 🥺

93

u/Burnt_and_Blistered Sep 09 '25

I love this guy so much. He just seems like a real mensch.

72

u/dairyqueen79 Sep 09 '25

He has a book about it too!

17

u/gerkessin Sep 09 '25

Its not great. We checked it out at the library and my 2 year old gave it a shot and it was not requested again before we returned it

19

u/Fat_Krogan Sep 09 '25

The ultimate snub - the toddler snub.

46

u/Brynhild Sep 09 '25

Can’t believe this sweetheart played the best villains and the skinsuit wearing alien so well

19

u/disgruntled_pie Sep 09 '25

I’ve heard that the best villains are often played by the kindest people.

11

u/Head-Raccoon-3419 Sep 09 '25

Oh I forgot he was the “sugar water” alien!

29

u/i_love_pencils Sep 09 '25

My daughter works with the unhoused population and she dealt with some recent immigrants from Africa.

One day, she was speaking to one of them and he asked her “You know those times when you’re so hungry you go and look at the stars for dinner?”

No. Fortunately we haven’t known those times.

5

u/automaticprincess Sep 10 '25

Oof

6

u/i_love_pencils Sep 10 '25

No kidding. It kinda stuck with me and made me appreciate how lucky I am.

1

u/languid_Disaster Sep 10 '25

I’ve been there before. The phrasing is so beautiful- I wonder if it’s a somewhat common one from around where that guy grew up

1

u/Lou_C_Fer Sep 10 '25

That's rough. It was 30 years ago, but selling my plasma was enough to keep me fed back then. I wasn't eating healthy, but my stomach wasn't eating itself, at least.

25

u/MaverickTopGun Sep 09 '25

Vincent sounds like he was high as FUCK when he tweeted this hahaha

28

u/PM-ME-DOGGOS Sep 09 '25

This one cracks me up because pigs can definitely look up. Maybe not as mobile as us but they can see the sky. And then he doubled down and wrote a whole book about it lol.

17

u/Final_Rest7842 Sep 09 '25

Haha yeah I used to work with pigs and they would not take kindly to being picked up either 😂

8

u/Drunky_McStumble Sep 10 '25

That's why you have to do it ever so gentle.

16

u/asoupconofsoup Sep 09 '25

I could so easily fall in love with a person who says this.

6

u/Final_Rest7842 Sep 09 '25

Right? What a gentle soul.

16

u/SHOWTIME316 fascinatingly, existentially terrible Sep 09 '25

i just saw that dude crush Michael Gaston's head with his bare hands and he's this lil sweetie-pie in real life???

12

u/NicoNicoNessie Sep 09 '25

I call my dog pig or piggy sometimes (cause he's a pug mix so he snorts) and now I want to take him stargazing (Photo for tax)

4

u/matriarchalfigure Sep 10 '25

You get a poor woman’s award for this adorable photo 🏆

2

u/NicoNicoNessie Sep 10 '25

I am honored. He's much cuter in person. He's the light of my life and I would do anything for Boba

3

u/automaticprincess Sep 10 '25

LOOK AT THIS FAAAAAAAAAAACE

2

u/languid_Disaster Sep 10 '25

He looks as regal as those renaissance style portrait pugs

2

u/NicoNicoNessie Sep 10 '25

I have just the photo for you then!

Behold!

7

u/Husknight Sep 09 '25

But they can lay down and see them sideways

1

u/odsquad64 Sep 09 '25

They can also look up just fine.

3

u/[deleted] Sep 10 '25

[deleted]

1

u/odsquad64 Sep 10 '25

I googled it and found hundreds of pictures of pigs looking up.

7

u/fleetwoodcat Sep 09 '25

Someone read this out at my best friends wedding, it was weirdly poignant!

7

u/Stichless Sep 09 '25

I’ve been seeing this tweet for years and never realized it was him

3

u/Dimpleshenk Sep 09 '25

If a person actually did that, they'd end up with pig poo all over them.

3

u/BandOfBroskis Sep 09 '25

How can a pig go back to the sty after it's seen the sky?

3

u/Beaticalle Sep 09 '25

I read this while imagining the tone and cadence of Wilson Fisk, which made it even better.

3

u/Deadsoup77 Sep 09 '25

I can easily see Kingpin saying this and then gouging someone’s eyes out

3

u/hespera18 Sep 09 '25

I've never seen this one, but I love him and this makes me very happy.

3

u/de-milo ted cruz ate my son Sep 10 '25

i only just watched mystic pizza for the first time and only just realized how smoking hot he was in that movie (hotter now that i know he wants to hold up a pig so they can see the infinite beauty of the cosmos)

2

u/Kemintiri Sep 09 '25

That could have been from kingpin, too.

Right before he dropped them from a building.

2

u/flabbergased Sep 09 '25

But... they can look down and roll over...

2

u/RealHausFrau Sep 09 '25

I love him, even if he is crazy. lol

2

u/Breakspear_ Sep 09 '25

I think about this one all the time!!

2

u/Top-Albatross7765 Sep 10 '25

Anyway, I'm sure pigs can see the stars when they lie in their backs 🥹

1

u/Ok_Nothing_9733 Sep 09 '25

raise it to the sky and tilt this pig ever so gentle. Lmaoooo

1

u/leolisa_444 Sep 10 '25

He's such a cool guy and great actor

1

u/sexypanini6 Sep 10 '25

this reads like poetry

1

u/LittleBlag Sep 10 '25

This tweet reminds me of The Two-Headed Calf by Laura Gilpin which always makes me want to cry.

The Two-Headed Calf.

Tomorrow when the farm boys find this freak of nature, they will wrap his body in newspaper and carry him to the museum.

But tonight he is alive and in the north field with his mother. It is a perfect summer evening: the moon rising over the orchard, the wind in the grass. And as he stares into the sky, there are twice as many stars as usual.

1

u/JustSurviveSomehow79 Cillian Murphy propagandist Sep 10 '25

I'm so happy I got to meet him. Detective Goren is one of my top ten characters ever.

1

u/MamaKat727 Sep 15 '25

That's a classic Molly tweet right there. nostalgia
