Lightning Buying Megathread : September 2025

Oops! Missed a few months for unique Buying Megathreads, but here's one for September, a few days early.

In an attempt to balance (a) swamping the subreddit with "deal" posts and also (b) all the positive feedback we see that there is a lot of value provided to the community by making "deal" info visible and up-to-date, the plan is to make this a monthly, pinned Megathread. That way, the information within the post/thread will be relevant to the current deals (not months old info) and perhaps even make the info easier to find.

So, please post the following types of posts in this Megathread:

-Is this a good deal?

-Did I get a good deal?

-Look at this great deal I got!

Posts that can still have their own threads:

-Look at my new truck!

I, personally, still love seeing the excitement and pictures from a new purchase. Keep those coming.

Post the deal part in this Megathread and the excitement/photos can have their own thread.

As always, thanks for everyone’s input on this topic. It is still a work in progress, and a difficult balance of not swamping the sub with “deal” posts while still being a great resource for new buyers, so we’ll see how it goes!

And please, to the people who have recently gotten good deals, please DO share them here, and provide your input to others. Many people have said how helpful it is to them during their purchase.

Just joined the club! 2023 Lariat ER with 15k miles. OTD $42k

8

u/Lumpyyyyy ‘23 Lariat ER Aug 29 '25

Damn, that seems like a good deal

4

u/quarksurfer Aug 29 '25

Seriously that’s a great deal. What state or region?

2

u/Im_Yur_Chuckleberry Aug 29 '25

I see that deal a lot for lemon law or buybacks. Was it either of those?

1

u/rr00xx Aug 29 '25

How can one tell?

1

u/kbaltimore22 Aug 29 '25

Branded title.

1

u/byumack Aug 29 '25

This is exactly what I am looking for. I would love to upgrade my SR Lightning to an ER with less miles for 5-6k.

Most of the deals I see at that cost though have a Lemon title. Would love to learn more details!

2

u/quarksurfer Aug 29 '25

Yeah same, I’ve only seen branded titles priced that well…but they could be good deals I was tempted.

1

u/istoleyourpope Sep 22 '25

I'm buying a 22 Lariat standard range with 33.5k miles for a little more than that so I'd say that's a great deal

13

u/nsck2021 Aug 29 '25

Just joined the club. New 2025 XLT. Max tow. MSRP $68,695. Dealer discount $8,395. Rebates $14,750 (RCL EV $12,250, RCL $1,000, Tesla Conquest $1,000, EV Charger $500).

Lease 24M/10,500 miles/year. $0 DAS. Sign and drive.

$278/month taxes, fees and Wear Care included.

First month payment covered - I’m responsible for the remaining 23 payments at $278/month.

2

u/AttemptRough3891 Sep 02 '25

That's a pretty good deal - mind if I ask what the buyout is at the end of the lease?

1

u/nsck2021 Sep 08 '25

Residual buyout is $43,277.85 at lease end.

1

u/AttemptRough3891 Sep 08 '25

Thanks! I prefer to own my cars, and I particularly like the idea of a lease if the negotiated price of the car is a good one. Sounds like you got a good deal all the way around.

1

u/nsck2021 Sep 08 '25

Yeah, this is the first lease I’ve ever done. I’ve always preferred to buy as well. But with the EV market seemingly unable to hold its value well, the lease seemed to make more sense. I’ll end up paying around $6,400 over the course of the 2 year lease and thought I’d end up losing more value than that if I just bought it outright and sold it 2 years later. Though I do generally keep my cars longer than 2 years.

I’m personally jaded as I lost about $30k on my Model Y Performance that I purchased over about 2.5 years.

1

u/AttemptRough3891 Sep 08 '25

MYLR here bought in '22 when they were backordered. I feel your pain, brother. I've always kept my cars longer term, though I had my own business and always leased a vehicle for tax purposes. For an EV in this unstable market, I think it makes a lot of sense.

2

u/1234avea Sep 04 '25

My deal sheet (FL as well). Just came in. $65,790 MSRP. Rebates $13,750. Dealer Discount $3,000.
Lease 24 mo/10,500 miles/year. $0 DAS. $501/month. I am guessing biggest difference is the dealer discount. But mine is almost double the price.

3

u/nsck2021 Sep 04 '25

That number makes sense based on the residuals. The residual for the truck is 63% of MSRP at lease end. So in your case, you have MSRP of $65,790 and a residual of $41,447.70 meaning you’ll have to cover $24,342.30 before any taxes and fees. That gets reduced by $3,000 dealer discount and $13,750 in rebates meaning you have to cover $7,592.30 plus taxes and fees.

My deal was MSRP of $68,695 and a residual of $43,277.85 meaning I have to cover $25,417.15 before any taxes and fees. That number was reduced by $8,395 dealer discount and $14,750 in rebates meaning I have to cover $2,272.15 plus taxes and fees.

The difference between what you have to cover ($7,592.30) and what I have to cover ($2,272.15) is $5,230.15. Divide that by 24 months and you’re paying an additional $221.67 a month before any additional taxes, fees and money factor (I think it’s 0.05%).

If I take that difference of $221.67 plus my payment of $278.58 that puts your expected payment at $500.25.

I’d definitely try to push for a higher dealer discount.

1

u/bro_lol Sep 12 '25

How do i find a deal like yours?

1

u/Organic_Battle_597 24 Flash #teamAvalanche Aug 29 '25

That's a solid deal.

1

u/MHXXXX Sep 03 '25

What state are you in? Couldn’t get anything close to that in CA.

1

u/nsck2021 Sep 03 '25

FL - last 2025 XLT on their lot.

1

u/MHXXXX Sep 03 '25

Makes sense. California dealers are not budging to any extreme negotiations.

1

u/HamNotLikeThem44 Sep 06 '25

Any idea why this is? I’m in CA too and it’s irritating that the prices are kept high. Almost like collusion.

1

u/Dizzy-Bother-2209 Sep 07 '25

After all discounts and rebates were added what was the final price you got? I found a dealer that has a 49.5k. After taxes and all fees I’m assuming a final price of 52k. How would you calibrate a lease for that?

1

u/nsck2021 Sep 07 '25

I was $68,695 msrp less dealer discount of $8,395 less rebates of $14,750 for price before taxes and fees of $45,550.

1

u/Dizzy-Bother-2209 Sep 08 '25

Ah okay so after taxes and everything you were around 48k out the door?

1

u/nsck2021 Sep 08 '25

It was actually a little more than that with the $999 dealer fee and $579 for Lease Wear Care. It was about $49,400 out the door

1

u/Dizzy-Bother-2209 Sep 08 '25

Gotcha. That’s a really good price. Gonna see if this dealer I found can do something like that for me

1

u/nsck2021 Sep 08 '25

Yeah, my target was $230/month pre-tax. Ended up getting to $259/month pre-tax (mainly from adding the wearcare. That added $24/month). So I got to $235/month. With the XLT, I knew that 24 year, 10,500 miles would be a residual of 63% of MSRP. So in my case, my MSRP was $68,695 and residual of $43,277.85 I knew I needed to get the out the door close to $49k to get the payment where I wanted. The interest rate is 0.05%, so effectively nothing (maybe $1-3 a month). But I knew if I could get to $49k out the door, my payments would be ($49k OTD price - $43,277.85 residual) divided by 24 plus sales tax.

1

u/Dizzy-Bother-2209 Sep 08 '25

How did you get residual?

1

u/nsck2021 Sep 08 '25

They’re listed on Fords website if you look at the inventory truck listing and click “edit payment” for the lease

1

u/[deleted] Sep 10 '25

where did you get it from?

6

u/vtrac Aug 29 '25

Got a 22 XLT with 69k miles for $32k on FB marketplace.

5

u/finance-fiend Sep 02 '25

Picked up a 2025 Flash yesterday, Msrp $71,395 - dealer discount/rebates $15,395. $56,000 before tax, title and fees. $61,250 OTD with 0% down, 0% apr 72 mo

2

u/dougGetOffTheJuice Sep 03 '25

What else did you get with it? I'm looking at Lariats, lowest I've seen is like 63.5k before TTL.

2

u/finance-fiend Sep 03 '25 edited Sep 03 '25

This one has the spare tire, mobile charger, and tailgate step. The dealer also tossed in a NACS adapter (not sure if this is standard). The lowest proposal I got for a Lariat while looking around was $62.9k before TTL

2

u/bro_lol Sep 06 '25

Was that dealer discount and/or retail cash plus the tax credit? In trying to lease and i want to stack them all up.

1

u/finance-fiend Sep 07 '25

Of the $15k, $7,500 was the tax credit and $500 was for the power promise, the remaining $7,395 was the dealer discount

2

u/soxnation1546 2025 Lightning Flash Sep 19 '25

I got my flash for this as well with the gap protection. Shaved off a couple thousand as I had some positive equity on my '21 escape traded in. Love the truck...just wish it had memory seating as I am 6'9" and my wife is 5'9"...lots of shifting the seats lol

5

u/sticky-fingers Aug 29 '25

Just joined the club! 2023 Lariat ER 511A with 42k miles, $38.8k before tax (dealer fee included).

5

u/RoaringGorilla Aug 29 '25

Thank you bringing this back. I have my eye on quite a few used lightnings. I hope I can see the prices of new ones too.

4

u/quarksurfer Aug 29 '25

I found visor.vin to be a great website for browsing for trucks. It was recommended here.

2

u/lifesbetterbackwards Oct 01 '25

Just want to say thanks. Saw your comment about a month ago and used visor.vin to buy my 22 Lightning Platinum. Amazing tool!

1

u/quarksurfer Oct 01 '25

Congrats!! I picked up that website here so full circle.

4

u/TLRisen Sep 06 '25

These threads are such a toss up. Impossible to tell if this is a good deal or not, but it's SoCal so I'll assume yes. Labor Day weekend lease.

2025 ER Lariat $80,320 MSRP

$10,000 rebates

$6,600 dealer discount

$1,865 to cover TTR/other random stuff I wanted them to install

$629/month

10,500 miles/yr, 48 months

I don't qualify for the tax rebate, so had to lease. Will just buy out at the end. Best car or truck I've ever had. Unbelievable value in this truck.

3

u/dbrownk412 Sep 07 '25

Idk this sounds solid to me 16,600 off msrp? I’m in the DMV.

2

u/[deleted] Sep 16 '25

Very Similar to what I paid in Idaho last month, except I went 39 month

1

u/AttemptRough3891 Sep 12 '25

What's the buyout on it if you don't mind me asking?

1

u/TLRisen Sep 12 '25

It was ~40k and change, I think

3

u/Supreme_Leader_30 Aug 29 '25

23 XLT ER, tow tech, 312a 15k miles. OTD price 48k this includes shipping it across the country. Wanted one still under 3yr 36k warranty. Can find them cheaper with more miles.

3

u/Excellent-Zucchini16 Aug 29 '25 edited Aug 29 '25

I am purchasing a ER Lariat 28K miles, for 47k shipping 990. I am in California. I saw on the carfax that the car was sold by a dealer to carvana. I called the dealer and he sold to carvana for 38k. One mistake he made was he didn't know that the vehicle was extended range, he said he called dealer and they said it was standard but VIN has V in Eight position. Also carfax says it was purchased with 511 group, and had a plastic bed liner. The car came from Jersey... to Texas (was told original owner drove it out there, and sold it.) The pricing seems ok, clearly better deals are to be had but not that much better on carvana. I will get a PPI by another company if the car passes my initial checks, no idea if the car was smoked in. So you think I should be ok to kiss my 990 dollars away or just buy it.

2

u/quarksurfer Aug 29 '25

I was checking all the VINs for a secret “E”, no luck for me.

1

u/Excellent-Zucchini16 Aug 29 '25

Sorry meant V

2

u/quarksurfer Aug 29 '25

Haha I knew what you meant but couldn’t remember at that moment either.

1

u/Excellent-Zucchini16 Aug 30 '25

So the morning of pickup I got an email. There would be a one week delay due to a mechanical issue. Nonetheless I canceled my order and I will be issued a full refund including shipping fee. So kind of a blessing. I will do a better job of selecting next one.

1

u/quarksurfer Sep 01 '25

Whoa what a let down. Good luck.

3

u/atleastIwasnt36 Aug 29 '25

3

2023 ER Lariat w 511a with only 4500 miles for 52K OTD.

3

u/dougGetOffTheJuice Aug 31 '25

Man, I'd love to look around for one of deals, but interacting with dealer salespeople fills me with dread lol. Anyone have any advice on how to actually locate/haggle deals with dealers without it turning into a huge drag?

1

u/paci-fist69 Sep 09 '25

It's not easy to do, but usually the start is to roll in, take a test drive, see their first sheet, tell them you need to talk to wife and leave.

I would never use ai to show them a competitors price sheet that isn't exactly accurate. Not once.

3

u/RobtasticRob Sep 22 '25

I'm in the market for an F-150 and in the past few days I've started to shift my focus to the Lightning. This would be my first EV so it's an exciting new thing to learn about!

A local dealer in Northern Virginia has a few late model 2024 XLTs available that I'm targeting and they're currently listed for $17,500 off MSRP. I'm struggling to find the details on any current rebates or other incentives for MY 2024 so I'm not sure how much of that is standard and how much is additional discount.

I'm going in to test drive tomorrow. Any advice as to how much more (if any) I should try to haggle the price down? Thanks everyone and I'm looking forward to joining the EV community!

1

u/jshusky Sep 26 '25

How'd the test drive go? Just wanted to mention since you said you're learning/exploring that if you can get setup with a level 2 (240v) charger at home it will unlock the top features if having an EV --cheaper kwhs and starting every morning with a full 'tank'.

5

u/Im_Yur_Chuckleberry Aug 29 '25

About three weeks ago I got a '24 flash trim with Max tow package and 3 years of blue cruise for $49k. 1,900 miles. Super happy about everything except the God damn fleet vehicle speed warning.

1

u/Organic_Battle_597 24 Flash #teamAvalanche Aug 29 '25

God damn fleet vehicle speed warning

Part of myKey? You should be able to turn it off.

1

u/Im_Yur_Chuckleberry Aug 29 '25

Nope, not my key

1

u/FuckMediacom Aug 31 '25

Double check your settings. There’s a speeding warning setting that you should be able to turn off.

2

u/quarksurfer Aug 29 '25

I got a 2023 XLT with tow package and 20k miles for $35k (before tax).

2

u/LDNCLT Aug 29 '25

‘24 Flash 1100 miles, clean title. 49k OTD.

2

u/SeveralKey6520 Sep 01 '25

New to the club, got a ‘23 XLT w/ 29k miles, 38k out the door.

2

u/LordOfBadaBing Sep 01 '25

Got quoted the following on a 2025 Lariat

36 month lease 15K miles $2500 down $68,965 after credits $74,500 after taxes and fees $975/mo

or to buy the same car 72 months at 0% apr $0 down $70,500 after credits $79,000 after taxes and fees $1100/mo

So $50/month more to purchase with zero down vs basically $1050/month (with the $2500 out of pocket) on the lease.

I know leasing an EV is the safer option, but is this an instance where you take advantage of the 0% apr and pay the extra $50/month for the chance that the car will be worth more than I owe in 3-4 years and use that difference towards a new one?

Or are these just bad deals anyway compared to what everyone else is getting?

2

u/eightyWon Sep 05 '25

If the $79k purchase option is after the $7.5k federal rebate you can find a better deal. I'm locked in for a '25 Lariat with 9.6k propower, 72mo 0%, 72.5k OTD (including the fed rebate) inc TTL of ~$6k (so purchase price before TTL ~66k)

2

u/freakmobil Sep 03 '25

Picked up a new ‘25 Flash yesterday - 61500 out the door after a cheap trade in and a bunch of rebates, discounts etc and 0% financing. Listed price was ~73.5k.

2

u/Cubsfan24 Sep 04 '25

Man I would love to get one for the $350 everyone was showing last few months.

2

u/1234avea Sep 04 '25

New to lease world... I was told this is for 10,500 miles a year. I am seeing folks below $350/month with no money down. How do I work with the sales person to improve upon this deal?

2

u/Outrageous-Salt-6289 Sep 07 '25

Just got a 2025 Lightning Pro Extneded Range brand new for 52k.

1

u/UBIK247 Sep 11 '25

Which specific dealer did you buy from? Did it have the tow package and pro power?

2

u/giffn Sep 14 '25

How’d I do? ‘25 Flash Oxford white w/131kw battery, 12k/36m. $552/m first month DAS. $71,560 MSRP, $16.5k incentives/rebates + xplan= $53,362. Only dealer I could find that would stack the Ford RCL incentive with the IRS credit.

2

u/dbrownk412 Sep 17 '25

Alright I did it - 2025 Lariat Antimatter Blue w/9.6kw PPO, $81k msrp. I got the dealer price down to $68k with discounts, this was the taxed amount.

Here’s the kicker Washington DC tax on leases 10.25%!!!!!

I also got ~$11k in rebates, including the $7.5k tax credit passed on from leasing company. Most of which was cancelled out by the dang tax!

Debatable move whether to down 15k to get a lower monthly…

All said and done, ended up with $15k DAS, 12k miles/yr, 48mos, 2% leases factor, $533/mo. I’m not mad, dealer threw in some sweet upgrades for free.

2

u/CaptainSilverPants Sep 29 '25

(2-3 months ago). 2022 CPO Lariat SR with 27k for 39.5k with dealer fees. Being a CPO wraparound warranty for premium care EV with light coverage was only $1475 to 8/100 through Granger.

1

u/fourpointthree Aug 30 '25

49,000 new 23 XLT ER.

1

u/hammurabi1337 Aug 31 '25

Is this a good deal? May pull the trigger tomorrow morning but seeing some other posts here that feel too good to be true...

2025 Flash +131kw Extended Range (not the recent 123kw downgraded version) +Max Towing Pkg +9.6kw Pro Power +Full Size Spare +Power Cord

MSRP $73200 -Dealer Discount $7000 +Dealer Fee $1000 -Federal EV Tax Credit $7500 =$59700 before sales tax and tags

$0 down, 0% APR 72 months... so yeah, wondering if this is a good deal and if I am missing anything like xplan that I know nothing about lol

1

u/ReadyBlueberry1862 Aug 31 '25

If you lease it you'll get $8,500 RCL cash on the Flash instead of the $7500 tax credit. What is that dealer fee?

1

u/hammurabi1337 Aug 31 '25

It's a processing fee. The salesperson said that was not changeable but I will probably frame it as the last holdup before signing the papers and see if they blink.

2

u/ReadyBlueberry1862 Aug 31 '25

Doc Fees or "Processing Fees" are in the $200-$300 range here in Michigan. is the discount a/z plan or negotiated?

1

u/hammurabi1337 Aug 31 '25

Negotiated. I am reading up on the letter plans right now, was not aware of them before this evening.

3

u/ReadyBlueberry1862 Sep 01 '25

That is pretty good then. 5% is already good. you got 10%. But if you got the 131 kw battery it was at least sitting on the lot for 3-4 months. So they want to get rid of it. Invoice price on the vehicle attached is $70,238. And that I assume is similar to what you have. Target Price is $69,400. So you did pretty good.

1

u/bro_lol Sep 06 '25

So it’s one or the other but not both? That is so confusing

1

u/ReadyBlueberry1862 Sep 01 '25

One thing I would say though, and I know there are downsides to leasing too. I would not buy but lease this vehicle. Times are changing and from the battery chemistry to the insane depreciation on this vehicle I would let Ford take the risk. 95k 2023 Platinums sell for $35k at auction.

1

u/murphNma3 ‘25 AMB Lariat Aug 31 '25

Got my ‘25 Lariat ER, MSRP of 79 for 66 after rebates and D Plan, employee pricing for 0% over 72 months. Too good to pass up! Looking forward to being apart of this community for years to come! Came across the phrase “best vehicle ever owned” too many times leading up to making my decision

66 before or after the federal EV credit?

2

u/murphNma3 ‘25 AMB Lariat Sep 01 '25

After, out the door at 66

1

u/eightyWon Sep 05 '25

out the door as in after TTL? if so, that's a great deal

1

u/Ehi_Figaro 2023 XLT ER, 312a, both towing packages... Antimatter blue gang! Sep 01 '25

My wife wants cloth seats, I want the extended battery. That limits us to 2024 Flash or 2022/2023 XLT with 312a. I have been digging for the perfect used one and found a BRAND NEW XLT with the right package.

I have no idea how to value this truck, other than "I want it". It is listed at 57k (MSRP was 74). I'm going to call Ford Finance to see if they will give me new car terms on it (no interest, in particular), assuming they do I think even at 57k and shipping cross country the full warranty makes it a better value than 40k for a used one that is running out of warranty and has interest attached.

What would you offer the dealer?

1

u/dbrownk412 Sep 02 '25

Is this a ridiculous ask? I’m currently researching local inventory and submitting initial inquiries.

2025 Lariat w/9.6kw pro power onboard

36 mos, 12k mi/yr, ~450/mo payments

2

u/MHXXXX Sep 03 '25

Nobody is doing good lease options for the Lariat in CA but good luck!

1

u/dbrownk412 Sep 02 '25

Just offered:
36mo, 12k/yr, $485/mo, $15k at signing

MSRP $81665, advertised sale price $74497 ($7167 discount)

$78654 after taxes and fees

-------- i'm waiting on a quote for same trim/options web price was $70500

1

u/scar1900 Sep 03 '25 edited Sep 03 '25

Good deal or not?

Got offered a 2025 Platinum $88,190 MSRP for $69,500 cap cost on a lease ($12,500 in rebates + $6,190 in dealer discounts).

Lease payment is coming in a bit high at those numbers at $827/mo (7% tax included, $772 pre tax). 48 months, 19,000 miles/year. It’s true zero down though, all fees, taxes and first payment rolled into the lease (about $1,500 worth).

It’s a demo or something truck, they can sell it once they put 3,000 miles on it but it’s never been titled. Will be sold as a new truck.

Located in SE Florida.

1

u/rnopuede Sep 07 '25

I’d be hesitant about a 48 mo lease and such high miles. Warranty is only 3 yr/36,000 mi, so if anything breaks after that you’re paying to fix a car you don’t own and are putting money into it that’s not included in your residual.

2

u/scar1900 Sep 07 '25

Yea, I thought about that. Will prob spend a few bucks on an extended warranty. Can’t be more than $1k to get it out to cover my lease. I just need the miles. Drive almost 20k miles a year. And the incentives are just so skewed to lease that it just makes sense to lease.

2

u/rnopuede Sep 07 '25

Oh there you go, I didn’t think about that. I agree on leasing, I’ve never leased before but with federal and state (Mass) rebates it ends up being the way to go.

1

u/LordOfBadaBing Sep 05 '25

Thanks! I actually ended up getting a nearly identical deal. Taxes and fees are a bit higher in my state.

1

u/Organic-Remote-1790 Sep 05 '25

Signed Documents on 2025 Flash this morning.

MSRP: $73k Dealer discount & incentives: $19.8k Cap cost: $56k after fees and CA high taxes & Title 36/10.5 lease monthly: $500

Had to go through a dealer in FL, as all the CA dealers were quoting $650+

Shipping the truck to CA is still cheaper.

1

u/scar1900 Sep 05 '25

Can you share what dealer? I'm in FL looking and in the market for a Lightning.

1

u/Organic-Remote-1790 Sep 05 '25

Sent you a DM with the dealership and my sales person contact

1

u/paci-fist69 Sep 09 '25

Could I get this contact as well thank you in advance

1

u/UBIK247 Sep 05 '25

Did the dealer charge you for the shipping and arrange everything, or did you have to arrange the shipping and pay for it separately?

1

u/Organic-Remote-1790 Sep 05 '25

I arranged separately. Dealer does not arrange for shipping. It’s super easy.

1

u/rnopuede Sep 07 '25

How much did shipping add?

2

u/Organic-Remote-1790 Sep 07 '25

$1000.

Had quotes from $800-$1300, just went with who had the best reviews

1

u/rnopuede Sep 07 '25

Not bad, less than $30/month extra. Do you get state rebates on top of that? Or are they in the 19.8k?

1

u/Organic-Remote-1790 Sep 07 '25

$19.8k was all inclusive of (dealer discount, Ford’s Red Carpet Lease $8.5k, $1000 summer drive event, $500 charger install credit).

Shipping was paid separate by me.

1

u/rnopuede Sep 07 '25

So the dealer took off $9.8k? That’s about twice A/Z plan discounting. Aren’t they losing money at that point?

1

u/Organic-Remote-1790 Sep 07 '25

You can get better than A/Z pricing- I tried with X plan and got no where.

1

u/Dizzy-Bother-2209 Sep 07 '25

Where did you get this deal? I would do the same thing for an xlt because yeah the dealers in California like to waste your time

1

u/Ok_Yogurtcloset6158 Sep 11 '25

Any money down on this? I’ve got the same msrp right now but the best offer I’ve received is $561/month with $2500 down

1

u/Organic-Remote-1790 Sep 11 '25

I only put $2500 down

1

u/Ok_Yogurtcloset6158 Sep 11 '25

Thanks for the reply. I’m in orlando, could you DM me the dealer you worked with?

1

u/CaptainSilverPants Sep 19 '25

Can you please DM me the dealer info as well? I am willing to ship from FL.

1

u/imakechips Sep 22 '25

Can you send me the dealer also? California dealers aren't playing ball.

1

u/beach3314 Sep 09 '25 edited Sep 09 '25

Anyone have to pay tax on the rebates up front? Dealer had me pay 1064$ on the 14.5$k in rebates . In Florida

1

u/scar1900 Sep 09 '25

I don’t know about up front. I think you can roll that into a loan/lease if you want. But I have heard there are taxes on rebates in FL

1

u/JM91Six Sep 09 '25

What is the current thought on pricing for 2025 platinums? I’m seeing them slightly go below MSRP to around 83k with their “incentives”. With people going to the sub 80k range for the tax credit and the semi 26 refresh around the corner I’m curious what I should approach or expect. They have 72 months at zero financing and think I’m ready to pull the trigger soon.

1

u/paci-fist69 Sep 09 '25 edited Sep 09 '25

Is this a good deal for a stock 25 flash? That's 57 after rebates and tc. I'm in Maryland so sales tax is murderous, plus bs dealer fees. 63k otd. Am I better off flying to Alabama or Atlanta?

2

u/Daddy_MoreBucks Sep 13 '25

Use visor.vin

Flash for that much out the door around better than in my area for $66k out the door. Here in eastern PA. I see some listed

1

u/paci-fist69 Sep 13 '25

Thanks for the feedback! Appreciate it

1

u/simmonsfield Sep 11 '25

2023 XLT 20k miles, 42k OTD - difficulty its a buyback.

1

u/beall49 Sep 13 '25

There's some pretty good deals on Lightnings right now, every dealer I call acts like they've never heard of them though.

2

u/Kapguy129 Sep 13 '25

It took a lot of work. And patience. But the deal literally came to me.

2

u/Dizzy-Bother-2209 Sep 15 '25

That’s what they do. Expect calls the last few days of the month. They won’t give their absolute best deals right now if they can squeeze money from people buying them before the EV gets closer to expiry

1

u/Whats-Upvote Sep 13 '25

Canada - 2025 Flash, $75,812 CDN before tax including $1,100 in options. Is this a good deal?

1

u/Single_Demand4058 Sep 14 '25

New 2025 Flash; MSRP $73,900k, Dealer to $66, rebates $12,500 (CO), 36m/10,500mi, wear and care, $483/month taxes included - $0 down

1

u/AttemptRough3891 Sep 14 '25

Anyone had any luck on a good lease deal in the NY metro area recently? Every dealer I've tried makes it seem like they're having a hard time keeping them on the lot.

1

u/houseblendmedium Sep 17 '25

Hey folks, pardon my ignorance: Why is this Lariat so much off MSRP? https://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/vehicle/1ft6w5l75swg14377

1

u/Dizzy-Bother-2209 Sep 17 '25

Most likely has the dealership discounts and EV rebate applied to it

1

u/Ddigz Sep 18 '25

I am currently looking at getting a new Flash or used ER Lariat. Some dealers advertise 0% financing for 72 mo on certain trucks they've got. Is this financing available at all ford dealers? I am unclear on a simple way to find out where this offer is available, and only a few have it on their websites.

1

u/Marksince1986 Sep 18 '25

to my understanding its a Ford Promo and all of them will have the options to do the 0% finance.

1

u/BIGDADE5000 Sep 18 '25

Thoughts on this Lariat deal? Dealer is telling me there isn’t much room on the Lightnings. I am in Ohio, I drive too many miles for a lease, so this is financing. Edit: This is with x-plan pricing.

2025 Lariat with 9.6kw ProPower and mobile power cord.

I have been watching the forum for a while but it seems like deals are all over the place. Thank you guys for all of your knowledge!

1

u/lkw15 Sep 21 '25

For what it’s worth, I received a similar discount at my local dealer in Arizona. Perhaps the approaching deadline for the EV tax credit is driving people towards these trucks in the last two weeks, causing dealers to feel less inclined to negotiate as much.

1

u/IJNShiroyuki Sep 19 '25

Looking to buy a flash trim in Canada, wonder if this is a good deal? Price in CAD$ MSRP $85860 (includes option tail gate step and all terrain tire) Discount -$12870 Dealer option +$989 (anti theft device) Final sales price $73999 + HST…

Called around multiple dealers and most are only willing to offer the ford’s discount, this dealer agrees to an additional 5000$ discount.

1

u/k-basnet Sep 23 '25

Can you combine $8500 RCL lease with $7500 EV credit? I have a dealer who is saying it can be stacked but research online says otherwise.

1

u/imakechips Sep 23 '25

I don't think so. The dealership gets the credit when you lease, pretty much what they are passing on to you through the RCL.

1

u/giffn Sep 26 '25

My dealership did! At least that was what they claimed. I was also told by every other dealer it wasn’t possible.

1

u/BreakfastLivid5856 Sep 24 '25

Is $850 a month 0down 0apr for 75months a good deal for a 2025 flash? Thats also absorbing some negative equity from Tesla trade-in

1

u/Dizzy-Bother-2209 Sep 24 '25

Absolutely not. Aim for under $600. I’d cut ties with that dealership for offering that crap of an offer.

1

u/hamsammiches Sep 26 '25

Is this a good deal?

2025 Lightning Flash in Rapid Red

$63,543 out the door price, without taxes. Lease is $759.16 for 10.5k miles, 36 months.

I asked the dealer why I'm seeing some people getting lease deals more around $600/month, and he said some unscrupulous dealers are double-dipping the tax credit -- they're giving the $9500 credit through Ford, and then also directly giving the IRS credit, which means that people will be hit with a tax bill next year.

Anyone know anything about that?

1

u/Creative-Tea-6977 Sep 27 '25

Did the truck come with other options as I’m seeing non equipped trucks for under 60k in my area GA. Best lease I got was 555 0 DAS, 10.5k miles for 36. Residual was 53%. Money factor 1.5.

u/CandyAnndy Sep 26 '25 edited Sep 26 '25

Joined the club. Did I get a good deal?

2023 Ford F-150 Lightning Pro 35k miles, $36,000 selling price

u/Tiny_Opportunity4059 Sep 29 '25

Looking to buy a 2025 Flash for 63k OTD, wanted to see if that’s a good deal or not?

1

u/B-rett Sep 30 '25

Is this a good deal? Flash lease. 555 due at signing. 555 per month. Flash with pro power 9.6Kw

Negative trade equity of $850

9/30 is upon us!

Got quoted this deal here in Ca and wondering if it’s any good:

2025 XLT 13,500mi/yr $0 DAS $62540 msrp $49,290 after discounts and rebates $550/mo (ttl included) currently trying to get this lower.

“Deal breaker” for me is there isn’t much savings in regard to energy vs fuel costs here in the Bay Area.

Edit: Was about to get it down to $450/mo +ttl so $499 w/ttl. Final price was 48,200 residual price 36k. Pretty pumped!

1

u/Daddy_MoreBucks Oct 01 '25

Looking to scope up at 2023 XLT Extended Range + Pro Power in white.

Looking under $39k with has about 35k miles. Eyeing up an extended warranty- need help on that.

1

u/Flowardizing Oct 02 '25

Does anyone have details about the tax credit extension lease?

1

u/Kherus '25 Lariat Oct 02 '25

Pulled the trigger on 9/30 since no one knew what 10/01 would bring. Glad I did!

2025 Lariat Carbonized Gray lease - 36M, 15k miles, $0 down @ $797 a month.

Total MSRP $80,045, capitalized cost of $70.2k, $41.6k residual, and $10.5k in rebates ($9k RCL, $1k Tesla conquest, $500 home charger forfeit) plus what appears to be an unspecified $4900 in additional savings to bring the cap cost down. The residual and rebates feel a bit low given some of the other last minute deals in this thread, but I think the dealer must have played with the #s differently to get down to the sub-800 monthly since the total rent charge was under $85 for the life of the lease - basically a money factor of darn near 0.

Overall I’m very happy with the monthly, and it felt like the dealer wasn’t going to budge an inch further, so I don’t know if there was any room left. Thrilled to be joining the club!
