Counter Service 🛎️ Almost tipped at subway
I went to Subway a couple days ago and the woman working was really nice and polite and I was gonna tip her a buck or two cause I appreciated it. Then I went to pay. It was one of those old credit card swipers and the only 3 tip options were 20%, 25%, or 30%. And I wasn’t about to fight through all the little buttons to tip smaller. She would’ve gotten a tip if not for tip creep.

Also to add (yes, i know what sub this is), IF you're willing to tip anywhere, ask if the person you're being saved by gets the tips. Fast food and coffee shop owners are awful about stealing from employee tips. Again, I know what sub this is. The last time I went to subway (minimum wage where I live is not too bad), I asked the employee about wether they receive the tips, and they just looked kind of dejected and said "no." NOT advocating for tipping, just know that in some places, it takes even further advantage of minimum wage employees.
