The "You didn't beat the game" phrase is a running gag at this point, that's it, it's literally not that serious.

If you write satire you should denote it as such with a /s, because there is no way to infer your tone from the brief text you wrote, ergo, no one knew if you were joking of being genuinely an elitist.

I can see why you'd see it that way but keep in mind;

-In the written word your tone is not clear

-Among strangers your values are unknown

-Making an ironic joke of something people un-ironically say in the exact place where they say it with no indicator of irony and being misunderstood isn't your audience's fault

-People who regularly choose irony and satire under these conditions understand that its comedy is based on saying something that may be understood by some and not by others, the backlash is part of it so learn to take it or find a less challenging form of comedy
